I grow up in Tcity nothing wrong with the west side just some development that needed a lot of love there. I love Tuscaloosa is great just not enough jobs but it's a great place for retirement and rising a family.
Tuscaloosa is actually a great place to live I have been here 14 years came here in high school from Birmingham. You are just an outsider looking in. We are a great city and will continue thriving without talking about stuff you don’t know.

The west side use to be crunk back in da 80s and 90s and early 2000s but nowadays its Alberta city and them areas like Forster gardens and the other apartment complexes over near McFarland blvd

What do you mean by worst? The crime rate or worst looking?... Because the first neighborhood you visited may look bad now but, I promise you it looked nothing like that years ago. I actually lived there! The reason it looks bad now is because most if not all of the older people who made sure the neighborhood was kept up died. If you meant crime rate, then that's not true.
I would NOT live here. It might have massive investments and majestic buildings but depending a one particular industry (education) is NOT a place to be. it is what it is, a place to go learn and than move away. you will see my other videos I hope, coming in the next few days from this town.. its a COMPLETE ghost town at present NO THANKS. it serves a purpose, to educate people.. but.. frankly i like AUBURN much more its got more life YEAR ROUND. I am still gonna rock my RED and ORANGE but when it comes to towns.. auburn is better. @@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Auburn is nicer scenery, but legit doesnt have much going with their CITY. Tuscaloosa is growing at a more rapid rate for a reason. Those college students from up north, the east coast and out West actually lives in Tuscaloosa now. The city doubled in population since Saban gotten there. I stayed in Tuscaloosa for college for 5 years and didnt want to come back home next door here in Bham.

And for me actually moving to Atlanta and Orlando a few years ago taught me a lesson, the people in those places are struggling just like here in B’ham or Alabama in general. Gotta appreciate what’s here because u could be from Selma or anywhere extremely country where they truly don’t have anything at all.

You should've went to "The Camp" in Holt. It's on the east side of T-town. Tuscaloosa is the best city if you want to settle down and start a family. You got plenty of outdoor activities, shopping, and of course the University of Alabama so there's not a shortage of things to do here.

The erea around John England used to be pretty rough because there was a lot of crackheads, drug dealers and gangbangers in that area, and this back in 2005, but now? All of the gangbangers are probably locked up. The crackheads are usually old and peaceful so they should still be riding around on their bikes, and the drug dealers should still be present too but lowkey because there's a police station over there. Our house once got burglarize while we were sleep.
