@@rhondahunt8080 Not really. It just makes me feel a little out of place. This is one of my favorite TV shows. I dont know of too many people my age that have watched Longmire.
From what I've read, the demographics of the show were part of the show getting prematurely cancelled. TV execs are famously sociopathic people who couldn't care less about the artistry of acting, writing or direction. The ratings reflected that Longmire's audience was mostly older than the coveted 18-35 crowd. Who cares what the old fogies think right? Better to make dumb filler with big explosions and cool car chases in slow mo that appeals to teenage boys. Which kinda shows how clueless the industry can be. I just turned 30, in the 'ideal' demographic and I love this show. Hopefully the hollywood creeps will realise that tastes change and more people are wanting better writing with better acting than they expected in the early 2000s
If you read the book series- Vic was the reason Longmire even made it onto the tv screen. They changed things up otherwise those who read the books would know what’s on the tv and those who watch the show don’t know what’s in the books. Expand
