I was stopped recently in a Wal-Mart parking lot. I was sitting on the tailgate of my truck waiting for my wife to arrive. A cop stopped and asked me what I was doing and I told him I was sitting on my ass. This pissed him off. He got out and put his gloves on. I asked him to wait a minute while I put my gloves on. He was just a kid and got scared and left....I carry my gloves wherever I go now I will NOT be intimidated by the Ass Clowns. Keep up the GREAT work and be safe...

It's amazing how rare complaint forms are when auditors ask for them. The first thing they do is look bewildered when you request them, then they try to say you have to talk to a Senior Officer. Complaint forms should be in a bin in the public area of every police station. It should be policy in every department in America.

Once the Drugs have been put in the drop box it does belong to the Police the Office had every right to say back away. This is how when acting like a complete asshole can land you in jailed or shot for being a asshole. And if i was the officer they would be i a squad car around the 8 minute mark. And said fuck it lets take it up with the Judge.

In 2005, US Congress ruled that a cop's job is NOT to protect and serve. Their only job is enforce laws. No matter how morally wrong the law may be like civil asset forfeiture and red flag law. Like any PD you got good and bad cops. The good cops are slowly being forced out.

I am not an expert on narcotics law in CA, but I know that "Volunteers" can't be in possession of narcotics. Hospital and ambulances have laws that must be followed in regards to acceptable storage units for drugs. A card board box set in a public parking lot attended by police volunteers is not acceptable.
The only drug law for the government is that they sell US the cocaine and fentanyl products. Then bust the dealers and sell them to US again. Make it legal, and the police are DONE.

My parents used to be on the side of police until they realized how many times I would get stopped. I am treated like I am doing something illegal nearly everytime. Searched in my own driveway. It is really sad in this day and age I feel like I have to say thank you to a police officer for not treating me like that.

This is just sad. I grew up in Tustin. Although it has been many years since I lived there, the police were never this hostile towards the public and showed respect to us. Times have sadly changed for the worse there in Tustin.
I wish I was surprised at these officer’s behavior, but after recent events and the history I’ve had with the police, I’m not. All officers have to do is be friendly, they don’t need to be dominating pricks. They don’t need to give “directions “ they just need to protect the rights of citizens. Hey SGV. even though this is a while ago it still stands out as whats wrong with a lot of LEOs. I just got through with speaking with Lieutenant Stephanie Nicholls at Tustin PD, we spoke for over 20 minutes about the rights and wrongs of these type of police and public interactions, basically the chat went that there were no wrongs done by any members of the public and all the rights were abused by Tustin PD. Apparently the sergeant (Van Cleave) was straightened out and everyone else present was educated along the same lines. I pointed out the use of the phrase "in this day and age" (that old chestnnut) and how they like to use this to generalise a false concern, now we have the deaths of George Floyd and Rayshard Brooks I said to lieutenant Nicholls that "In this day and age" its important to be under no false concern that the police will and do fucking shoot to kill. Funny how that simple phrase has turned about face.
