The tutorial explains the use of the ExpressPCB’s PCB design tool, an introductory explanation about the building blocks of a commonly used PCB. If your concern when using PCB Express is also printing out a paper PCB to aid in installing parts, then your background should be light blue or white, it will print out white. The silkscreen color should be black, not yellow. I make all custom parts and they appear as black colored parts. The highlight color should be pinkish purple. The point is a yellow colored part aka resistor or cap should be black not yellow, so it has proper color contrast.
