In this tutorial we look at where a Lua program starts. We examine the concept of an entry point, then briefly cover variables and functions. We also discuss comments, then go over lua keywords.
Just for an extra consistency I recommend renaming Main.lua to main.lua (the lower case m) so that it works on POSIX systems like MacOS, Linux etc as well not just Windows.
I know I'm responding to a 6 year old comment, but it doesn't actually matter here because the Lua interpreter is being called directly with the name of the file, so what the file is named is irrelevant. When it will matter is when making a game with LÖVE, at which point, yes, the file must be called main.lua for it to work on anything other than Windows (assuming Main.lua even works on Windows, it might not). In the Starting with LÖVE video he does use the appropriate filename.
so the only way im going to learn is with lines pointing to what stuff is and a simpler explanation and the line pointer to the explorer tab inside roblox idk if there's a video like that
can you just put more information and learning in the video not just one script for the people who already know programming but just want to earn one more language
