I didn’t need to know how to change the hop up, just needed to see what the stock inner barrel with parts looked like so when I replace mine I can just use this video to guide me, thank you

Performed in 2021. This mod turned my stock m249 into a mean machine ! Takes some trial and error to get perfect though.

@@jordanszabo7858 Pushes the hop rubber up more, giving it more hop... just cant go too high or bb's will jam or it will be over hopped.

I can't get over 300ish fps with my a&k and the compression for the gearbox is good but if I do the dental foss mod and use a vfc bucking I get 350 but then it dropped to 200-250. I think my air nozzle is not making proper contact with the bucking or the hop up unit isn't sealing well. If you have any idea of what it could be I would love to hear it. I'm also thinking of getting the bull gear hop up if That would help with sealing

Hi OP! I think your Hop-Up might not be aligned properly, check out my M249 Feeding Fix Guide or even better the M249 Ultimate Guide to Superior Firepower: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o-ksVH-GIhs.html Take care of the Hop-Up alignment and try again, I usually get quite a boots when the Hop-Up gets centered properly, let me know how it goes.

Dont know if you still respond to these videos, but could you tell me what nozzle/bucking you are using? I have been having a nightmare trying to find the correct combination to allow rounds to enter a factory hop up chamber and still have a long enough nozzle to seat against a bucking. Factory or otherwise

Do you need to hollow out the bucking or just keep it how it is? And what exactly is the longer nub supposed to do for the gun?

Yes, also AIRSOFTPRO does a pretty nice M249s Hop-Up Unit, but you can trust this mod as well if you're on a budget! :-)

Nope, the M60 shares the hop-up unit with the MK43 only as far as I know

It stays in place with the hop up screw adjuster thing (cant remember the real name :P)

i try this mod, it won't work for long, this mod will not make perfect contact with bbs, i gain little range for at least 100 shots. but unfortunately the hop unit is poorly designed

Hi Jefferson, that's unfortunate are you sure the nub you made was plastic and slightly longer and ? Mine has been working for more more than a year without issues, a plastic flat nub on a medium density hop up bucking should keep working.

i did exactly how the video explain, id work but not for long, plus every single compression component are upgrade ,plus gear an bearing everything.... but once comes to the nub, seems to not work, i try 3 different sizes with pen tube, an

Dang, that sucks man! You can try to make a different nub with the silicon part of the same wiring that run through your gun, if you got some spare wirings do the same thing you did with the pen pipe but with the wiring, remove the copper inside and just use the silicone cover, maybe that'll work. Or, keep using the stock nub and add a tiny piece of material under it, it can be anything rigid, glue it to the bottom of the stock nub to make it pop out more on the Hop-Up unit.

actually , i redid the pen tube nub, little big and precision cut, so it seems i gain range, but lets see if can hold the stress of long game, its not an single internal that i haven't upgrades, so hopefully the pen nub keeping me on tge game, thanks for the ideas

Sure man, I'm glad you had some success! I'm sure it will hold up just fine, I do it with all the M249s I tech! ;-)
