Great video, the color is beautiful! I’m so glad I came across this video as a cos student I am always trying to learn new tips tricks and techniques with color formulas😊
I love it but I wish you would have showed the whole application on the top mohawk and maybe edited out parts of the back and sides because the top is most important it’s what clients see. Came out beautiful though
Great information thank you for this! I do have a question about your teased sections. When feather at the top so you don’t get a hard line, are you saturating all the way through or just painting the surface there? Also where is that mannequin from? I use pivot point and hair art but I like to have other options! Ty
I’m a stylist and I will definitely be adopting some of your tips and tricks with this look! 👌 Thank you so much for sharing. Part of me wishes I lived in Florida so you could do this on me. ❤️😂 #oregonianstylist. (Honestly moving to Florida sounds better and better as time goes by lol)
This is beautiful! Thank you for these videos! When you rinse, how do you ensure the root dye does not bleeding over and cover the highlights? I am not a stylist. I just cover gray roots in between stylist visits and have really wanted but avoided highlights because I know the dark root dye will bleed over them in 6-8 weeks when I go to cover my gray
Could you possibly do a top halo section with a technique like this ?? I would love to see something like that so it's not as much foils and easier for us at home 😊
Oh my God... this is so amazing on my return home I am reaching out. You are in Central Florida. Super.. Cant wait, can't believe I missed this video. I am❤ so glad to know you are close by. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
If you’re starting with an all over level 8 and you want the base to be darker on the teaser parts you can paint those during right with it still blending?
Usually I will just mush the color on the teased parts. You can also on each of the tease sections before you tease, almost low light the root, then tease, add your lightener and then mush the color more onto the tease. Does that make sense or help?
@@StylesBySummer revisiting my hair playlist- congrats on the amazing growth Summer! I knew you’d have success here with your true talent and authentic style!!!! Wow! 🥰😍📈👍🌹🌹🌹
I got a one question....how much this work or chunky highlights will cost in your salon....very great work and tutorial....all are very good...I learn a lot...because I'm begginer....thank you Summer....💖💖💖
Summer can you make videos on color theory, how to use the different volumes when coloring hair, and using multiple colors in the hair like tri color etc., how to get any shade also, just color in general. thank you.
My hair is probably a level 7, I’d like to get to a 4 with Carmel highlights… should I dye all of my hair dark brown and then go back and lighten where I want my highlights? Or should I try to leave pieces out to avoid coloring them twice?
Flore, there are great affordable Highlighting kits in drugstores like Revlon Frost n Glow or "Loreal Frost & Design- Champaign" with Bleach, 20 or 30 volume developer. I have used in the past many times and always been a success. 2-3 boxes if you have medium length to long hair. The Loreal one comes with Toner for brassiness but I would get Wella Charm Toner just in case. Make sure the directions are followed carefully and your bleach is mixed up properly like soft pancake mix consistency. Foils- I feel works better than highlight caps and the comb with the rat tail point to make your highlights, slices or sections.
Hi summer gunkey blond highlight four your mennequ befour you do bleach what coolor your mennequ it was can you tell original your mennequ what color your mennequ can gou tell dont hid be honist whzt color your mennequ be four you put bleach
It just helps give a more rooty look if the client it wanting that. Adds some texture as well because not every lighter piece starts at the same point per section.
