Forgot to include this in the video: To clean the blender, just draw with it on a clean piece of paper!
As said in the video, I'm not an expert and I don't know everything about markers, but this is some stuff you can do with the blender pen!

Aquila Aleksa just a quick note that I hope you find helpful is that the Pitt markers usually bleed with copic or promarkers where as the Sakura micron don't in my experience

WOW,just....WOW you are one of my favorite artists here on youtube and ive been keeping up to date with all of your videos! you are really talented and i hope you continue to draw! I definitely learned a lot from this video,i had no idea you could blend in so many different ways,i usually just either use my finger on led or simply use a napkin on watercolors (it seems to work :/ ) anyway amazing video and you have earned a subscriber in me!! if you are mixing two different colours together with the colourless blender, and if the top of the pen gets dirty, what do u do?

Just make a few streaks on a scratch paper and with enough times, it will go away :)

Yup, I've been using the blender pen mostly "wrong". This is beyond useful Katvalk! Esp exactly how to erase colour, I always just went over it and made a smudge. Seriously, thank you so much!!

I've been so used to color pencils but after my hand accident, i cant hold or push pencils properly so swifched to Promarker. ,i loved it so much. Everyone thought i was printing the pictures but the only problem i have is blending. You're a life saver!

I bought some of these yesterday and did exactly the same as you tried to blend two colours together with the blender pen , so thank you I have already used them on a canvas Iv painted to get to the smaller details its worked a treat . x

Burlap makes cool textures, and it is even better to buy the colorless blender refill, and can put more on fabrics, or use in one of the water markers for more techniques!!

These are some really usefull tips! They might not all work as well for cheaper markers but they should still do something.

I’m just starting out with my first set of markers that are blend-able. This video was perfect with a great amount of tip and perfect for what I needed. My only suggestion would be to slow it down a bit. I know you had a lot of information to try and put in this video, and don’t want people to loose interest, but at some points, I had to rewind 2 or 3 times to get all the information about the tip. But I’m a little slow anyway... lol! Honestly tho, thank you for a very informative video. You’ve made starting much easier : ) Smilez~

LAUGHING WAY TOO HARD, because the very first DO NOT DO tip, was the first thing I did. Not only that, but I used those exact colors, in that same direction, and probably same size.

Great tips! I'm impatiently awaiting the arrival of my first set of alcohol markers :) I wonder if there's any difference between the stuff in the blender and rubbing alcohol? That would be pretty silly if Copic is selling 25cc's of plain old alcohol for $5 in the blender refill bottles...

Thanks very much. I basically have up on my blender when the packaging on my brushmarkers implied that I could directly mix 2 different colours. And I really couldn't. I haven't used one since, it FOMO lead me here and I'm so glad it did

That looks great ! Those r alcohol based right ?(obviously) what paper u using ? Ive just been using regular printing paper And a stylefile sketchbooks but they bleed through like crazy and can't really shade or blend like this at all... I got 2 greens to blend kinda nicely on printer paper but this looks miles better
