I believe that on the first row she omitted the ch 1 between the increase chochets. I simply frogged the first row and added the chain 1 from the start. Problem solved. 😊
I figured it out guys for the wave part. Ill do my best to explain it. When she shows it shes several rows down already but basically it'll be one with an increas and one without an increase. For the second row of the wave you chain 3 to start then double crochet until you come to your increase from the previous row. In that stitch it one double crochet and then chain 1 then do one more double crochet. All in the same stitch. The just double crochet until the two stitches before the flower. When you get to the flower the two stitches before the flower. The stitch closest to the flower you skip it in the one before it double crochet like normal and chain 3 then single stitch into the middle petal chain 3 more skip the first double crochet and double crochet into the secons stitch. Repeat this for all stitches. Dont forget to alternate your rows and bam you have the skirt. I had to watch it at half speed a couple of times before i got it. Anyways i hope this helps
@@deanfamily9925 the increases are in the v stitch. The v stitch in the first row after the flower make 3 stitches v stitch and another 3 stitches, second row you will make 4 stitches v stitch and 4 stitches. The stitches increases for every row. Also you have to decrease one stitch after the flower alternating rows. So second row of skirt you will skip a stitch after the flower. 3rd row do not skip a stitch after the flowers.
I believe the best way to figure the missing beginning wave row is to screen shot this video where you could follow. Also watch the video and see how the increase and decrease rows are done, which the rows are alternate. That's what I did. Hope that might help.
@@LanasyOvillosinEnglish can you help us out. I started this beautiful dress. It’s beautiful but got stuck but you didn’t show us how to do row two of the skirt. Favor de alludarnos para se guiro con la Faldo. Gracias. Lilia
@@LanasyOvillosinEnglish there are lots of us trying to understand the skirt part of your lovely blue dress and there has been no response…please can you re-explain the second row?
I’m can get through the first line , don’t know what’s next , how to follow the pattern, can you help I read a lot of complains about the same issue, beautiful dress for beginners needs more instructions, thanks
I just finished this dress. It came out beautiful. I really want to make one for my three year old granddaughter. Can you tell me what the start chain would be or do I just use a larger hook?
I love your tutorial but u didn't not show how the increases were made before u went on to decreases. Am I missing something? If I did can u explain a little more for me. just learning to crochet dresses and I love yours. Thanks.
In what row & which stitch did you make the v-stitch increases? You skipped over where you changed it from 2dc in one stitch to dc,ch1,dc. I really want to make this for my grandniece. Thanks
I should've read the comments before starting this. Spent almost all day making the top part (because I just started crocheting) and now I cant make the skirt.....gonna cry in a corner now :|
Thank you for sharing this pattern, It would be very useful if you could share the size in inches / cm in every few rows.. I found it difficult to rely on only the number of chains since the tightness the chains differ person to person. Thank you.
Not clear enough instructions when it comes to making the skirt portion of the dress. I advise you to remake this video with complete instructions along with stitch count at the end of every round/row.
I agree with VioletUnicorn … I got to the skirt and had to stop because the increase isn’t clear at all. Do you have a written pattern? I’d love to be able to finish the dress as it’s absolutely gorgeous!
