The thing on the back if the button is called the shank. Yo-yo quilts were most popular from the 1920s to the 1940s. Nice tutorial.💝

Love the idea using yo-yos in my journals. I have so many left over from making a table cover. Thank you for this idea. The journals I make I only give as gifts. I make them just for the enjoyment of crafting.

@@codegrrl I made my first one and I love it! I made a purple one with a pink button. I have to watch your video again though, because I don’t think I did the center correctly. I can see how these can be addicting! Have a great weekend!
