carmen nixon thank you so much! I used Recollections 65lb weight from Michael's. After you add your design paper it helps with the weight and makes it sturdier. I wouldn't use 110lb because it might make it harder to fold. Hope this helps.

LOVE your albums!!!! Can you do a video on Tooks and Techniques where you go over the things you have like your tape gun and score board and how you “ink edges” and tips on getting straight cuts? I’m new to paper crafts and I like the way you explain things.

Laura, when you have finished placing all the pretty Christmas card stock, do you do any thing along the edges where there is some of the card stock showing underneath? It hard to place it exactly to the edge because the folds must bend. On yours I don’t see any of the card stock. It looks like you used something on all your edges.
Melody Jones I like alil bit of the solid cardstock to show. I used craft color cardstock for this album. I do ink the edges of my design paper and that helps to blend the design paper to the craft color.

Sandy I used magnets but if you do a ribbon closure add you ribbon under your decorative paper or just tie the ribbon around the whole thing. Hope this helps.
