I have been following you for over 2 years now and have seen how your journals and techniques have changed. At first I wasn't convinced but now love how you have evolved. I'm still a fan of earlier work but try not to miss any of your videos - love them😊
Look how much you have developed your style and technique. I remember you learning how to use your gel plate. I found this video really inspirational.❤
The colors you chose for adding in -- distress oxides do such cool transformations ... and the alcohol inks. I have oxides I like to work with, and I'm slowly converting to more and more Grunge in my books. Thank you for sharing this!
When you opened your video with the page you’d be teaching us to do, I was in awe at all the lace sewn on, the brads on the frame and all of the beautiful grunge. Then you pulled out the background page you used. Wow!! The camera picked up all the details so well. But I swear they looked like the collages you like to do. I love this page. I love to use embossing folders and then I like to rub ink or gold waxes on top. Everything just pops. Love this page. Good job!!♥️♥️♥️
I keep forgetting to use my embossing folders 🙈. Oh, at an angle🤦 lol yes, that would help with the 3d ones 😄. Oh cool tool, that would help with stamping platforms! I love the stencil😍. I do love a good resist technique. My favourite is embossing powder. Oh the alcohol ink really made it😍😍😍. NEED the triangle! Looks amazing and love the photo you picked too! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
I often have to make my own frames for photos as the ones I have are too small and big, often I have to butcher the image. I love the grunge look with pop of colours. I use leftover paper scraps to make the frame either as collage cluster or snippet roll.
I loved the outcome of that embossed paper. I don’t have a press for that so I’m thinking I can just use some texture paste on watercolor paper for a similar result. I must try this paint resist technique! Thank you, Barbara ☺️
Love this! I've been spraying and inking a lot lately. I did, however, find a flaw in my Kitsch Flamingo bottle in that it sprays out the side of the cap. That produced quite a mess and a load of laundry!
Hi, Barbara! I think your page turned out beautiful, and I liked the techniques you used to make it so colorful. I have a question. What happened to the back side of the page that you attached your photo to after you made it so wet? Was it just a blank page, or was there something else on it?
3:15 That roller! 🙆♀️ I have it too and has always given me problems, the color instead of flowing "slips" on the paper and gets stuck all the time. What i doing wrong? 😅
