Personally, I would suggest adding shoe trees inside for the finished products. It would make the end product look 5x better especially for your restorations. Just my 2cents though, keep up the good work man remember when I was doing this back in 2010 haha
This isn’t bad. Lots of people criticizing there paint overkill. I think it doesn’t 100% replicate wearing them over & over again...... but one way to improve, is to kind of drag the scuffing all around the shoe even if it’s just lightly 🤷🏽♂️. The reason is bc w/o doing the whole shoe, the contrast doesn’t look aesthetically appealing when there’s panels that are shredded and then panels that look like they just released in stores that weekend. Even the untouched part on the OG shows some kind of wear just throughout time itself. This is just my opinion tho
@@Shotsbymikey i really Like your Videos and your Work and i know you Skated yourself, but First off the wear of the shoe is like 1 little session or even only 3 kickflips and some ollies. Second is you didnt damage the sole which is what you also do at skating. Over all the shoe looks really nice either, make sure you'll go on with your videos. PS sorry If there are some english failures cause im not english or american
Kinda just messed up a perfect pair of Breds and royals, the whole purpose of the distress is you wearing it a ton. If your just painting it to make it “old and worn out” it literally serves no purpose. Wear your sneakers so they look like that naturally. Otherwise good video!
Does anyone know how to reshape the back portion of the Jordan 1 so that it’s straight? All I’ve been able to find have been videos on how to reshape the toe box.
Yeah, no. They don’t look natural at all. It just looks like you painted spots on them. Not gonna lie, I’m sure you’ve gotten better. But yeah keep practicing and you’ll get there

it doesnt have anything to do with "you should let it naturally age" or not this is just a bad custom I've seen great faux aged customs sold on gariled even seen some on youtube but this ones bad u kinda just ruined a pair
I don’t like the trend, I think you should just wear your shoes to that point not fabricating that. I see it as buying skate shoes and not actually skating them and just rubbing your shoes on grip tape without actually putting in the work. Idk I don’t get it
It’s a cool concept, but it’s not natural at all. You made it look obvious that it was scuffed on purpose. Kind of needs that oh damn I scuffed my shoe but looks good look. Still dope just looks too obvious if you get me. Doesn’t look aged looks like overdone. Beige paint wasn’t necessary at all. Should have banged them up against something to make look natural.
These look like 🗑. This doesn’t look natural. If you want to get this look. Buy a pair of shoes and start wearing them. Create your own memories and let it happen naturally. If I see someone wearing these, I’m roasting them. If I see someone with shoes that aged naturally... ✊🏼
