This was so helpful! I have a similar hair texture to the client in the video and I’ve been having a hard time finding a good hair to use for my twists to get them to stay. Definitely trying this style and brand this weekend
Glad it was helpful! I hope it turns out well for you! Be sure to braid in tight so it does not slip. But you are going to love this hairstyle. This is definitely my favorite hairstyles. Send me a pic on my IG @slayedbyjemma so I can see the outcome!
I do not rope twist the entire time. For me it all depends on the client hair texture. Because she her hair texture is not 4c and has a looser curl pattern that does not necessarily match the Spring hair I rope twist until I get past her hair because I want to make sure her hair is tucked and does not freeze up. But as I feed in the curly hair I rope twist those pieces in so it does not slip out and it is more secure. For individuals like myself who has 4c hair texture I do not rope twist until I feed in the curly strands. I hope this helps! I will do a smaller more in depth tutorial so be on the look out for that.
Try burning the ends lightly. Sounds like you using Kanekalon or your not feathering the ends before putting it in. bth it is most likely the type of hair you are using
