great job bro! thank you! i have tried it. When i finished it and download it in plc, i don't know why it doesn't work then at the end of the video i see that you have to log in to the webserver in order to write data to the plc ! then i tried it and it worked! thank you
Saludos
Your tutorial is very useful, thanks a lot for sharing. I really appreciate it ! but please try to change the funky music behind, it's quiet embarassing.
Hi. Is it possible for me to connect this PLC from difference places not just local wifi or LAN. Somethings like web server hosting in AWS for example. thank you so much

+Waldemar, I did a identical program, but it didn't run. Can you help me to identify my wrong?
Nice good job. I'm new to siemens .Can you just use a Siemens S7 200 or 300 and collect data? I'm working on colletting data from a temperature sensor and storing the data ( aluminum Die casting aluminuim). I'm thinking about using an analog module card and ethernet module maybe ? Then set up a data base or a webpage ( I know a little bit about HTML, js and C#). Can i please have any suggestions on how to connect all of this hardware and software? with details ? (what i need exactly) Siemens PLC and excel, Access or SQL only ? and use HTML to make it look better. Thanks,
plc+eth, analog input(AIW), sensor sound good( you may only need a converter like pt100/10V, depending on sensor type and watch out for cable length! - in some temp sensors do not cut or solder). siemens web server in plc is very limited - no php, small memory, and port 80 can't be changed - so if you set port forwarding in router, other users in local web will lose internet connection. To avoid this problems, you need to set up an extra server(simple pc with php server and database), next to update this db you need to make some kind of cron program, that will regular check I/O or data in plc and write it all in your db. problem is that it takes a lot of time, so you refresh db every one sec max. php server gives limitless possibilities, it can be smartphone(Ulti Server on android)!!! , you dont need a big pc/server. good luck!
Hi, just one question. Have you ever used javascript code into siemens web server? I need to create a graph and i can't pass data from HTML to javascript. Thanks in advance
js code is executed on client-side mashine and it cannot call siemens webserver directly maybe because of js same-origin policy,XMLHttpRequest js object or even ajax url method probably wont work. Only Iframe refreshed by java will work (.window.location.reload). you need to call http siemns web server everytime to get fresh data. I think you can use also one more pc as a php server with db and than pass this data first from plc to new php server using ,or file_get_contents methods.
Robię wszystko dokładnie według filmiku. Niestety po wciśnięciu "Homepage of the application" za każdym razem otwiera się strona z czerwonym komunikatem "AWP: Application Not Available : initializing application". Jakaś podpowiedź? W czym jest problem?
