From the book "Genuine Origami", this origami dog (The Papillon) is an intermediate model. This book has 43 mathematically-based models, from simple to complex. ENJOY :-)
I give up. After 3 hours and many papers and hurting eyes I’m done. It’s impossible to see what’s happening from 5:20 on due to fingers blocking the folds with no time taken to show the results, the poor lighting and the shadows. Plus, what’s the rush? I really wanted to hear successful with this model but too dark for me to decipher.
My first dog was a papillon and he was all white body and black pattern on his head almost exactly like that. So I am not sure which color you are referring to, if its the black body white on the head it can also be seen as a border collie or any other breed of dog with the color combo paper you use, as for myself I used plain white paper so it kinda looks like a japanese spitz, use black paper and it can be a schipperke. And honestly, in Origami it's not only about the color of the paper, it's mostly about the folding of the paper in such a way as to create an amazing piece of art out of a simple sheet of plain paper.
