Hi thanks for the video. One question: at 6:55 you can clearly see that the yarn is completely stretched to make it easier to do the knots. Can you explain what exactly you use and how you set it up? Its my first time doing macrame and I am struggling a bit😅
Hi dtsmn4220 I don't know what is used to hold the strings. I have just asked our creative team who made this video. I will return to you when I hear from them. 😊 Kind regards Heidi from Creativ Company.
Hi again dtsmn4220 Our creative team already responded. We caught them before they went on holiday. They tell me that they used regular painters tape to hold the strings appart and stretched. I hope this helps you control those string. 😉 Happy holidays 🎅🎄 Kind regards Heidi from Creativ Company
This is my first time doing macramé. The basic techniques shown on the paper that was with the package is a little different than shown in this video. But it also helped me doing some of the hard parts, that I could see both. BUT I really bothers me, that the upper white feather isn’t in the middle!!! Why!? I have made another grey feather to the right side, because it looked a little empty.
Hi Susan I'm glad the video could help, if the paper didn't quite do it. Sometimes it is better to see how others do it, before you can do it yourself. I know personally I have to see how it is done before I can do it myself. :) Oh! I didn't notice that before. Now I can't take my eyes off it. 😆 Kind regards Heidi from Creativ Company
Hi Beth I found our idea on our website. I could just make it out what is on the picture of the idea. Here it seems to be 2mm yarn for this project. www.cchobby.com/learn-how-to-braid-macrame Kind regards Heidi from Creativ Company
