I've tried to make it so that the "default" Lua mods install automatically, so if you are using the newest version of the app, hopefully you don't need the step at 6:47 anymore. If you previously used that step on an older version of the app, though, you should delete all the default mods (not necessarily every mod, just the ones which come preinstalled on Desktop version that you want to update) from that folder (/storage/emulated/0/com.owokitty.sm64excoop/user/mods/). The new mods should appear in /storage/emulated/0/com.owokitty.sm64excoop/mods/, and the old directory will continue to work for existing "3rd-party" mods. There could be Android devices that don't respond well to the way I did this so if something goes wrong for you comment it here.

the discord multiplayer is *going away permanently on desktop version very soon if it didn't already* . Instead, it is replaced by a 1st-party server created by the desktop version lead developer called "coopnet", which already works on my version and easily allows cross play with desktop version.

hello any error with "libGLESv2" means that you did not use the "pkg remove libglvnd" command from the description. also after that you have to use "make" again and "cp build/us_pc/sm64.us.apk /storage/emulated/0" again and uninstall and reinstall the apk again because there was someone who couldn't figure out how to reinstall apk

yes, though it is a little bit buggy. there are 3 ways to play multiplayer. you can choose "join ->public lobbies" or you can also use a VPN to use the "direct connection" method, or also you can swich to a different "public lobbies" server by changing "net.coop64.us" to "coop.burritobot.net" in /storage/emulated/0/com.owokitty.sm64excoop/user/sm64config.txt

I tried to compile this thing like 6 TIMES AND I GET THE SAME ERROR OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Literally, at the last command, such a simple command gives me the error "No such file or directory". 6 TIMES. LIKE 4 HOURS, SAME ERROR. My friend sent me his base rom, AND THE SAME ERROR APPEARS. I followed everything, i copied every command from github, AND NOTHING. This thing just wastes my time

yes. i am not sure exactly what you mean but, if the rom hack works on desktop version of _sm64ex-coop_ (has to be sm64ex-coop not other sm64ex versions) then it will also work on this android app

what mod with custom hud is not working for you? make sure you have the newest version (May 5). I do not support custom sounds in mods because they use something called "BASS" which I do not like

high poly models that look good is the most difficult requiring most skill mod to make. some people even think OoT3D and MM3D are bad (i think they look perfect apart from no source code). but someone will make it for ocarina of time eventually.

place the "gfx" folder of the texture pack in /storage/emulated/0/com.owokitty.sm64excoop/dynos/packs. create the dynos and packs folders because they do not exist already
in F-Droid put your finger in the center and then drag down and then let go. If you see an error at the bottom when you do that, then hold down touch on the F-Droid app icon and touch app details and in Android settings touch "clear app data" then restart your Android, then open F-Droid and try to put your finger in the center and drag down and let go again.
@@Zolo445 right now you can't join random people on either desktop version or android without meeting them first and sending each other the VPN information. but the inventor of the multiplayer mod is working on an update that will add a new way to connect to people, and it's confirmed that it will use a dedicated server that he buys, so when that comes it might be easier to connect to people.

if it's "omm rebirth" mod it's because that mod is very buggy because the people who made the mod are bad at programming. you can try to get a updated version of that mod
