Thanks for the tutorial. Just swapped my cracked screen. Used a hair dryer as I don't have a heat gun. Used the B7000 glue and clamped. Thanks a lot. Saved me buying a new watch.
I have a 735xt and the replacement part but I have some doubts regarding the "ribbon" connection. I have the watch open now but I dont see a "clip" (looks like glued or pressed with a transparent strap) and dont want to break anything. Any comments? 👍
Great video, thanks, want to give it a go, I have this issue with my new Epix Gen 2 Slate Steel, where can I buy an Amoled Screen for this? Can't find anywhere online...
Thanks for the guide, just followed this to replace the screen on mine. Unfortunately it seems the issue is elsewhere. The screen initially came up fine, locked up and is now grainy and unreadable as it was with the old screen. Probably a motherboard issue but given that the watch is an old model now and a few years old it's probably not economical to replace the board. Issues seem to have started about an hour after swimming in a lake, guessing that the watch may have not been sealed correctly from new.
Hi Joe, first of all thanks for the video.if the backlight is not working on a Forrunner 735xt do you thin ot is a problem with the screen? Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi Joe my watch work perfectly but it is not waterproof any more, I tried to repair it many times glues even b7000 is not working I think water is entering from the buttons how do I repair that.....please help
Hey joe, I have a question. My beats solo 3 work with the mic cord in but when I use Bluetooth, the left side stops working, could you make a video on how to fix the Bluetooth??
Thanks for the comment. The issue you are describing sounds like a faulty 5 core internal wire. Here is a video showing how to replace the wire:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YfkEljAsMts.html If you would like your headphones repaired by a professional you can fill out a repair form and follow the steps to send in your headphones. @@Joesge Did you particularly use this tape? ibb.co/xqgNKC7 Seller sais that is like the original FR235 tape... if you used it, do you think that B7000 is the better solution? Thanks.
By chance how much would you charge to replace the headphone jack on my solo 3s. This is my second pair, I was fortunate enough with the first pair. They were able to just give me a new pair but the new ones stopped producing sound from the right ear piece. Thanks
Thanks for the comment. The issue you are describing sounds like a faulty 5 core internal wire. This is a common issue with the solo 3 wireless headphones which causes the speaker to fail. If you would like your headphones repaired by a professional you can fill out a repair form and follow the steps to send in your headphones. We offer free shipping and diagnostics. Currently, we charge $80.00 to replace this part. Here is a link to the repair form: www.joesge.com/pages/repair-services -David P
Hello guys, great tutorial explained perfectly, could it be good for replacing the display of my 245 music? And above all where can I find the replacement display that works? Tks
How different is the process to replace the screen of the Garmin forerunner 935?. I'm in Colombia and not even the Garmin s official service will do it
Hello, thanks for commenting. We usually do not recommend using the smartwatch near water in general. In this case, it is very dependent on how you glue the screen down.
Depends. Most of the time once water damage starts, it can just corrode the board and will need a board replacement. www.joesge.com/pages/repair-service
I also need to replace my watch's battery. The only way to access the inside of the watch is by removing the screen, so battery replacement would involve exactly this process, but also a lot more. And then where to find a replacement battery? Joe, if you can help us out we'd really be grateful.
@@jim9689 Once you've got the screen off, it's pretty simple to replace the battery from there. I found replacement batteries for a reasonable price on aliexpress.com
