So if you was making a decking rope end you would need however long the length is plus 3.5 metres for the monkey fist knot? Dang k wish I saw this video before ordering rope 😅 I stupidly only allowed and extra metre

Thanks! 18 mm = 0.7 inches. I have cotton rope with nominal diameter of 0.5 inches, but it's a little bit larger when measured, so 3.5 meters with another meter for a handle (it will be a dog toy)sounds perfect

Yes, It is used as a holder for a door, a suspension, tieback for curtains, a toy for animals, a keychain etc.. 😉🧶👍🏻
