The unveiling of ur locs gave me life. I absolutely love when our hair stands up n out, it reminds me of the SUN. I wish my hair did that but I love my locs regardless. 💜
Gem. In.I Thank you so much! 😘I was in absolutely shock when it stood up like that I had no idea it was going to do that! ☀️☀️☀️Sad part is it never did that again ☹️ guess my hair got to heavy but such a wonderful experience 🤗
Hey! I throughly enjoyed this video it was brilliant 👌🏾 so therapeutic. 👏🏾👏🏾 you made me laugh when you took off your wrap! 😂😂😂😂. Your hair is amazing I love your Freeform Locs. I love Rosewater too! that’s a staple for my Locs I mix it with essential oils. Will check out your vid on how you make it. I use it as a skin toner too. Your baby girl is so gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your wash routine. 💆🏽♀️👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾❤️😊
Princess Platinumm I need some help with my hair. I bought some moisturizer for my curls but their starting to lock up. What do I need to get to start separating them so they don't mat up. I mean they basically separate on their on. I don't do anything but lay on it and wake up and separate it. My curls are still soft though. What do I do just let them continue to lock up on their on but how do I keep it moisterizer?
Yes you don’t need anything to separate them they will separate on their on. Once the separation starts to happen it’s your job to keep them separated, just keep in mind that when you are freeforming the separation can be anywhere from 2-3 loc’s to 100 it just depends on what your hair wants to do!
Angela Hite Nooo im so sorry about that! That’s how I cleaned my curly hair, I should have said I went into my freeform journey using shampoo only cleaning my hair in the same motion. Thank you for being that to my attention and I will be doing a head wrap tutorial very soon ok😊
Your hair is beautiful..I follow on insta. I'm trying to get away from non natural cleansers. I'm trying to find out if apple cider vinegar (no baking soda) can be used to clean hair and scalp. Those soaps are so drying
I’m not doing anything daily to keep it from being dry honestly, when I feel like it’s overly dry I’ll wet it and add some olive oil that’s about it.☺️✨⚜️
I love your hair!!!! Perhaps you could use a light/loose African threading method prior to shampooing just after you do your first separating. Wrap each loc loosely but enough to hold. Then wash with the threading in place.. Then slide off the threading after washing. You could use a thick thread that would be easy to slide off. I was wondering if that could help keep the locs better separated during the shampoo process. That way you wouldn’t have to pull them as much after washing and risk damage. Just a thought. 😍👌👍
No at the very beginning I shampooed my hair everyday for about a week straight. After awhile your hair starts to naturally separate on its own. When it starts to do that you try to keep them separated by pulling them apart. Those are the sizes my hair wanted to be so I just listened. 😊
Elizabeth Kaniki Absolutely!!! Stop twisting it’s as simple as that! 🤷🏽♀️You have to be seriously mentally ready for the no twist life and separate when you feel you need to. You will also see your LOCS start to get thicker ! I hope this helped 😊
Princess Platinumm thanks boo. You motivated me to wash mine but I already put a little oil with peppermint on my scalp. My scalp always itches when wet...whats that all about..lol Thanks for the quick response.
Angela Hite Just as long as your LOCS are not over saturated with oil I dont think a little will hurt! 🤷🏽♀️😊 Eucalyptus, Rosemary, and Tea Tree oil is great for an itchy scalp as well😉
1:19 "african American hair " u said that wrong. So if an african that was born in Australia hair be considered African amercian hair or Australian hair lol
I agree as long as you are of African descent and have Afro textured hair you’re African that Haitian Jamaican etc is segregation because you can look at a “African American” and a Yoruba and they will look the same🤷🏿♂️
