When I hear my own voice through mic monitoring it sounds really bad , almost like there is a slight echo and robot like voice , o don’t have any sound effects on, is there a way to clean this up ?
Can i still use my USB headphones plugged into my PC unit and just use my mic into the SC3 mixer . , if not which headphones would you recommend for SC3. Many thanks
You may need to select it as the default output in the settings, but we still recommend connecting headphones to the mixer. Any headphones with 3.5mm are adapted to the SC3.
So I plan on picking up a SC3 mixer and K688 in a few weeks but I believe I have a problem. Do I need a pair of headphones that connect via 3.5mm or would my HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless headset work no problem without having to connect it to the mixer?
It depends, as long as you don't connect the headset or headphones to the SC3, then whatever output device you will use is fine, just make sure the output device isn't the SC3. You still can use the SC3 as the default input. But if you want to plug the headset into the SC3, then it must be the 3.5mm wired headset or headphone.
Do you mean the mic on the headset? You can check if the mic is securely connected, whether the correct input and output objects are selected in the setup.
@@NalIu Um tbh, instead of getting a DAC to get the best out of your headphone, it's better to get an audio mixer with a more decent DAC in the first place.
@@NalIu It would work better with the 80 ohms headphones, but the best choice is still the 32 ohms ones. Thus, it's more ideal to get the interface that has better support of high-z headphone.
I have the same problem. My audio via USB returns to the Microphone input. It's impossible to use this on PC this way. The interface completely loses its purpose like this.
@@R4NIERI Hi R4NIERI, not sure when our colleague contacted you and when you got the unit. But it should be the issue that happened to only the model that was released half a year ago. And it should be fixed for quite some time. Did you still experience that kind of issue?
@@Douma0506 It's the issue that only happens in the early model that was released almost half a year ago. For any current model, you should not experience such an issue. If yes, please let us know where and when did you buy the model. We can help fix it.
I recently bought a AM8 mic for my PS4, but when I plug a headset in the controller, I suddenly can't use the Fifine mic because the headset has a mic. Does @fifine sell a headset that can fix this problem? Please help!!
You don't have to buy a compatible headset, there's a quick fix by unplugging the mic and then plugging it back into your console. Or if it's a 3.5mm headset, it's better to plug it into the controller instead.
what should I do if the mic monitoring button does not work when my PC is turned on? But if the computer is turned off, then this function works. Fifine I need help!
It sounds like the mic monitoring feature is turned all the way down by the computer system. To fix it, just go to the "Sound Control Panel"-click "Recording Devices"-double click the FIFINE mixer-click "Level"-make sure the monitoring level is not set to 0.
There're quite a lot of factors that could lead to this problem. Did you connect your headphones to the headphone jack of the SC3? Have you enabled the "mic monitoring" button? Did you choose the SC3 as the default output device?
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6T0EesOBpfk.html And please check out this basic video instead to make sure you hear sound from the SC3. And then choose the video related to the app that you're using to watch. If there's still problem, please let us know.
Please help me!!! My desktop audio is playing through my microphone and causing terrible feedback. Also, when I turn on mic monitor it makes a super loud noise that hurts my ears
Was your computer's headphone out connected to the line-in jack of the SC3 with the included 3.5mm cable? That's the reason for the feedback that we can think of if you bought the mixer recently from our Amazon store. Please let us know more details about the setup, otherwise we have no clue how to help out.
@@FIFINE I have Hollyland M2 receiver plugged into Headset, my earphones (with no mic) plugged into Headphone, and then PC plugged into PC port. Thats all
@@FIFINE And now I have the same issue as another comment: "When I hear my own voice through mic monitoring it sounds really bad , almost like there is a slight echo and robot like voice , I don’t have any sound effects on, is there a way to clean this up ?"
@@CorytheEasterBunny What kind of input microphone and output headphones that you use? To eliminate the possible affecting factors, have you tested the setup out on another computer?
@@CorytheEasterBunny But the Hollylan Lark M2 is a wireless mic with a type-c jack, how did you plug it into the headset jack? If you're using the adapter and plus the quality loss from wireless, it's hard to get good audio out of it.
There are two problems here. The main one is USB audio devices built to work on their own and to get rid of the external interface. Using a USB to AUX cable to connect them together is going backward, besides, it just doesn't work. The other issue is that the internal sound card of your USB headset provides the 7.1 sound, if you don't use USB, there won't be surround sound available.
It sounds like the computer audio loop, but it's not quite possible to happen on a model that you purchased recently from our official sales channel. Could you provide your order number for us to confirm the version of it?
No, it's about signal compatibility, you can't send the digital signal of the wireless dongle into an audio mixer that accepts only the analog one. And we're afraid that there's no solution to fix it. Since the SC3 is built for the 3.5mm headset in the first place.
@@sphinx8404 No no no, please don't. First off, working with USB mics is not the purpose of any audio mixer. Even if you don't mind that it just doesn't work. Since you need just 5V power and the installation of the audio driver, such a cable provides neither of those conditions.
Am i able to record a game with my friends but also hear my friends in my recording after we finish? (Me and some of my friends had played a horror game and then after we had finished recording, I checked on the audio so I can look back at the funny moments in our horror game, but only the video game audio and my voice was heard well my discord audio wasn’t heard..)
Um we're afraid that it's not a feature related to the SC3 but to the OBS, you can enable the desktop audio source and record every bit of sound played through your computer. So whatever mixers or microphones will work as long as you set it up right in OBS.
