wow...so very creative! that's why i love your builds and tutorials so much, esp. when you noted the "incorrect" way vs the "correct" way to raise and lower the platforms. i'm not a builder but i still enjoy learning how items are creatively placed just in case i want to "change" something, along with the "dos" and "don't". Thanks!
These are such creative ideas! I also love using that modern clock and the woodwork pieces to come up with interesting stuff, they are very versatile objects. Never thought of using the clock to make the hood though! And I never knew that the direction you drag the platforms in affects the raising of an object. Really helpful tutorial!

Just a quick suggestion, I tried as well before this way to leave furniture in low level platform and you don't need to cover them with more platform, it's ok even if you just select the room and drag the arrow to close the platform, with the bb.moveobjects on nothing will move from the position.

Lovely ideas!!!! 👌❤ However, it in no way wants to work for me. Either the item disappears or it goes up with the platform. I know trial and error, but it doesn't help :(
Haha! There really isn't a method, I was just showing that you don't want the object to rise - it's really trial and error, but when you get the first layer on, you're good to go!
Hello Schnuck, would you mind to make a short tutorial, about how to fix staircases opened by a fence square? when the sims cannot get upstairs after the last platform patch broke it up. I saw a picture you posted, however I tried and it didn't work, so probably I did something wrong. Thanks.

Thanks! It's for everyone - I love TOOL but there are some disadvantages to lowering objects into the floor with it, like lowered objects disappear when wallpapering or moving a wall etc.
If it raises up just hit the back arrow and try dragging the platform tool from a different direction, it's honestly just trial and error, but once you get the first layer down, it won't raise up. 😀
Unfortunately I don't think console has a S3 camera option - on PC S3 cam allows you to achieve way better angles, I don't know how the camera is on console, maybe you can already get those angles?
I just tried this in game to make sure it was still working, sometimes patches make building hacks obsolete, but I was still able to do this one. Make sure you have move objects on and try moving your counters forward or back a little.
@Schnuck01 I had also troubles with it, and I took your advice to move them a lil bit and I accidentally layerd them over each other and then it worked!! So thx for giving usefull tips! 😍 I'm a new fan since today!!
