Your pin cushions are shabbyrific!!! I bet they sell so well at the market!!! I will now be on the hunt for glass candle holders on my thrift shop and dollar store outings so I can try some too! Went to one of my local thrift shops and found ten of these candle holder thingys 2 for 99 cents! Would have never thought of looking at. Using these before until now. Squee!

heya...I sell them for around $15 - $20 NZD. I gave quite a few away for Christmas gifts to friends its nice cause you know they have them on there crafty table all the time :)

Kathy Sheeran hey there I just pick them up when I hunting at the thrift shops....little candle holders...wee vases there are many things you can use once you start looking for things :) I have recently been making some out of old silver ware...little porcelain trinket boxes are great as you can use the lid and have things inside :)

Just found your pin cushion tutorial while searching to hopefully find an answer to a problem I've been having. I watched as you used your glue gun on the glass. Have you had any problems with glue guns and glass? Seems mine doesn't want to stay stuck! Are you using a special glue stick? Like your pin cushion!
