Funny thing is this is a video from 2010. So We just got a new doosan lynx2500sy machine with touch panel and all that. They are proud of that fanuc control. Trainer guy showed me they got a shopturn option of "smartprogramming" stuff. I used to work on siemens 840d 7 years ago. I got this guy sweating to the same stuff what siemens could do 10 years ago. Btw i wasn't so hyped up of the smartprogramming.. We started using CAM softwares lately which basically just few clicks from any model files and does the program. If there's no model we just make one. I didn't realized back of those times how advanced siemens controls was.
@@Jun-vx6gl they can't really beat cam softwares unless the part is really easy. My point is this control is all new in fanuc but ancient in a Siemens.
