It is not only true in America but also in Canada as well. So many self loathing Kapo's and gives some realization as to how easy it was for the Nazi's to round up Jews in Europe. The majority of which were assimilated and just as self loathing as those now in the west.
well, most canadian and american jews would never want to live in israel because they like to live in the great north and the land of the free because they don't understand that israel still has to fight for being a free country.
and i really don't blame them. living in israel is a constant struggle, living in north america can be too, but at least americans don't fight their wars in new york or toronto. so it's easy to blame those who want or have to fight/defend themselves somewhere else.
Most jews are living in east coast cities, urban area... with a high mix of different ethnicities. can you compare the attitude of people living there with the attitude from the countryside?!
