Not gonna lie I only clicked this video in the first place only becase I thought this is a Vtuber and I just like listening to electronic guitar riffs... but it seems like I have found another japanese indie rock rabbit hole on youtube
@@blackman5867 Oh Tuyu songs hit hard, in more than one way! Pusu is the guitarist and writes most of the songs, but Rei on vocals and miro(lowercase "m" intentional) on the piano are extremely talented too!
TUYU's guitar parts seem so out of place and over the top at first but they've really implemented guitar in such a cool manner. really wish to get to this level someday. in conclusion, underrated af
their guitarist being the composer might also be the reason the guitar is emphasized in their songs, but what do i know about music ww anyway love your early summer cover :3
@@LuckyLan22 agree 100%! Started learning because of them and after 5 months im halfway through learning "it's raining after all" (but I'll be on full speed only after another 5 months or so lol)
It might feel like that because some of our friends don't know TUYU or people we meet are likely to not know TUYU, but honestly they have a million subs and millions of views so I think they're popular enough
I love it feels like every musician gets a chance to shine, even the guitar and piano players. I've never seen pop albums that give their instrumentalists entire songs of solo pieces. It's one of the reasons why I love Tuyu!
one of my favorite j bands ever and Pusu is amazing at guitar but after what happened this feels so weird :( I'm glad Rei said that she will still sing at least!
Yeah, English is more of a “yeah, I’m depressed, and you know that” While Japan is “I’m depressed and wanna commit die, but you do not have permission to know that, and shall assume I am as happy as can be”
pusu's guitar playing was one of the reasons why i picked up guitar :( it's sad, disgusting and disappointing that he had to do such a thing it's tuyover guys 😔
You can ! Just takes a lot of practice, but you can do it ! I have a like for Pusu's official channel where he has 4 videos playing Tuyu songs if you wanna sightlearn : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--FkOWPRl-90.html
Ok it's been like three weeks since youtube recommended me this video and i've done literally nothing but listen to TUYU ever since. Thanks so much for introducing me to them
Then you _gotta_ checkout "Autumn Rain Front"! It's just a full minute and eighteen seconds of Pusu on the guitar! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ANMehgPEAZU.html
Yeah, thanks for starting a semi addiction to these riffs about a year ago. It basically went, “who tf is this” to “WHO THE FUCK IS THIS!!!” It’s great.
This video brought to me TUYU, and i come back once more to cope from the recent incident, its sad that there wouldnt be any epic guitar solos like these anymore. 😢
@@Aaaaaqqq404so you're saying he's innocent? that a grown man in his 30s who stabbed a teenager is fine? That doesn't excuse his actions nor justify it at all.
As a musician I must say this is some super clean performance for a tone that almost has no distortion in it. Especially considering the speed of some licks the guitarist is awesome
I really would mostly prefer listening to Japanese sad songs. its deep yet you get to vibe with it. It makes you hype and stomp to the beat or singing along whilst making you feel much more calmer and would mostly likely forget what you're sad about because of the music's beat and language(except if you can understand Japanese). English sad songs are written in a more mellow and sentimental way, making it less to vibe on but to sink deep into what your sad about more.
all the instruments in their songs are organised so well , every harmonizes , the piano is playing a melody , their bass is playing a differently melody and the guitar is playing another melody but it harmonizes . plus the beat that the drums make is so good as well .
Anoyo-Iki No Bus Ni Notte Saraba guitar solos are probably the most iconic guitar solo, which is understandable and agreeable Tho my favorite is from Kuraberarekko
I originally made the video for myself not expecting it to blow up this much, and making another feels like I'm just ripping off tuyu but no offense to others that want to make the video
Remove just 1 instrument, and it won't sound right Change my mind If I imagined TUYU without an electric guitar, it will never sound right until there's one Even if it's not the main part of a section of a song
One of my bucket list this year is to buy an electric guitar and play one of my favorite songs. Top priorities are from Bocchi The Rock and TUYU. TUYU's specialty is their riffs. Even the song is sad, the riffs make you convince that it's a cool song. But if you understand japanese and the scenes of the MVs, you're confused if you should be sad or rocking
