working on this today with my dad for my daughter who will be 1. We found an entertainment center for $20 at the Goodwill. Not as big as this one though, but it will do.

Have you ever put together a Step2 Elite Kitchen? Price a Step2 & then add atleast 3 -4 hrs of trying to figure out the directions & if they included all the multiple sized screws AND sticker placement!! IMO kids will play with the kitchen in the video longer than the Step2 Elite Country Kitchen. I think if one were to put some wood blocks under it to give it some height they'd use it until about 6 or 7yo. The Little Tikes Kitchen's are so tiny now, not at all like they were when they first came out & neither brand is cheap

Such a brilliant idea and way to re-use or recycle what was once a major piece of furniture in the living room into a children's role play toy. So much better than the overpriced plastic models for sale in the stores :)

What an incredibly clever idea!! The SUPER SAD thing is that we HAD an exact replica of that entertainment center at the exact same time as our young children would have LOVED this kitchen to play in and we ended up giving it away!!! Waaaa!!!! You guys are SO CLEVER! Too bad I didn't see that in time. I absolutely WOULD HAVE MADE IT FOR THE KIDS!! Thanks for sharing!
