If this was on the History channel they would have extended it by playing a bunch of clips in non chronological order, and making it seem like they found possibly a dead body
If it was the history channel there wouldn’t have been a guy stranded and the whole episode would have been about the mystery of the water cooler on the uninhabited island.
You don’t give someone who is dehydrated and suffering from heat exhaustion Ice Cold water, good way to kill them, it can be a big shock to the system, Water around 10-15c at best until they cool down a bit
This guy was already in a dangerous place and only hours away from delirium. He could have died at any time and wouldnt have survived the next day. Those guys finding him when they did is an absolute miracle.
You saved this lucky man's life by being where no man goes. Timing was everything. I guess it was a good thing you went here for your film series & you got alot more than you bargained for a real miracle thanks for sharing this video 👍
Ten minutes ago was thinking "Haven't seen much from River Monsters and Jeremy Wade.." then YT suggests this. #Spooky Great rescue and incredibly lucky guy.
One lucky man that survived and maybe this is a reminder of how life can easily be snuffed out to all of us. But also how lucky we can also be if Karma plays its part.
I like that they showed the crew rescuing the man and Jeremy didn't try to take the credit or put himself front and center to pretend like he did the bulk of it. Good on them!
You know I've noticed that there's not too many man eating river monsters in Australia even though it's got a reputation for deadly animals and, oh wait that's because of the fucking crocodiles
not all the deadly creatures in Australia eat you but they are extremely deadly I know there is one weird little jellyfish thing that'll sting you and the sting will be incredibly painful and stop your shock response to overwhelming pain which will eventually kill you through stress to your heart and what not. So you like brush against this tiny little thing and then die of pain and your corpses eaten by some of the largest deadliest reptiles that exist in the world.
