I bought this tv 65 inch for 790£ ( converted from 10k sek ) and it came included with a tab s6 lite which is a great deal, the tv is great for the ps5 but i sold it a few months ago for £672 used and kept the tablet! So tecnically i got the tablet for 118£ which goes for £330 and a tv that i enjoyed for 11 months, but the bad thing is that it broke down 3 days after buying it and warranty fixed that so its great! The tv is 5/10

28 days after purchasing the device, I called technical support to report that the system was experience severe lagging whilst changing channels, freezing and switching off. The system was replaced. The replacement broke down again with the screen turning black while playing. Samsung’s customer service is appalling. The tv has just broken down again with no picture it sound. This is the 5th time since purchased in 2020.

I don't get this review. You didn't explain anything about the picture quality apart from "it has more detail than a 4k TV", which is the whole point of an 8k TV, but it's bad anyway, because..... no explanation.

A quick question, this TV is currently £1200, is it better to get a standard 4k TV at a similar price (with a higher refresh rate) or go for this? Additional, my living room will only take a 55", anything bigger would just be too big.

Hello … how many local dimming zones does the 65 inch actually have ? I can’t find that information anywhere … you said half the total number of the q800 … so roughly 240 ? Thank you … Also do you happen to know the full field brightness of the TV ? There is hardly any information or reviews on it anywhere … thank you …keep up your great videos ! 😎😎😎

I thin you're over egging the pudding. The Flip RRP is £1300 - but the real world resale price is going to be way less than that. Amazon sell this new for £900 so 'second hand' even if its not been opened you're looking at selling it for £750-£800 which if you use Amazon or eBay to sell will incur around 20% fees. You aint getting a £1300 freebie - probably less than half that. The TV looks very average, so even at £1300 its poor value.

@@toshlanark here's me as well looking between these two and thought about the LG CX as well. I'm a Sony fanboy but I don't really like the possibility of my TV having burn in-s even permanent ones! So that takes out automatically the LG one for me. Would go with the Sony one simply because I am a fanboy plus Sony TV's still support the 3.5mm jack port which I need for my sound system setup... But then again even except burn in there's the thing that the XH950H if you compare it with the Q90T it just isn't quite there in terms of image quality, angle viewing, features and such.. Personal opinion here in me is that overall Q90T is the TV worth to purchase this year! And I'm going for it when Christmas price drops arrive! 🎄☃️🎅🎄🎄🎄⛄⛄⛄🤪🤪🤪🤪😊😊😀😀

Alec Wong I would automatically go for the Sony one no brainer.. But if you look a little into it you'll find out that it isn't near as good as the Samsung one unfortunately so getting the Q90T definitely is the far better choice! 👍👍

Hi, thanks for the great review. Currently there is a deal in Sweden to get a free Samsung S6 tablet worth just over 300 euro and the cost of the TV (65") is just 990 euro. Also I do not play games on my TV and so will 60hz be an issue at all for me?

Let me tell you this, 120her vs 60her most people can't see the difference or they will see difference only when scrolling something, most of the movies etc. are shoot at 24fps so 60 hrz is plenty for just watching TV these review people make it sound like 120hrz is such an absolut big deal but reality is it's not unless you are some type of competitive gamer but than again you would go and play on PC with 240hrz or something along that line, my advice just go to shop stand before it and watch it if you like what you see just buy it.

This tv is going for between £500 and £600 new on eBay at the moment I’m coming from a 2012 Panasonic 1080p (love the picture by the way) will I see a night n day jump what would be your thoughts I could also buy a Samsung q80a for £500 also a lg bx oled for the same would maybe one of these be better would love to hear your recommendation many thanks

There's some 8K content on RU-vid, and the next-gen consoles are able to output in 8K. By the time consoles are able to take advantage of it, 8K should be somewhat cheaper.

@@Nwordplzplz please do not share incorrect information.. Neither the Playstation 5 or the Xbox SX will be able anywhere near to provide anything of 8k.. It'll be either stable 4k at stable 60fps Or stable 4k at somewhere closer to 120fps but no 8k!! Even gaming PC's with expensive gear can't really reach 8k yet or it is indeed very very expensive. Considering that a pc monitor of 8k capabilities alone worths the price of nice looking used car! 🤪🤪 So next gen console machines surely will not do any 8k.. 4k yes but 8k that's a little non sense even to think of.

I understand it is 60 Hz but why does my xbox show 1440p120 compatibility option? And continue to stay in that mode.

@@khairinoa yes but only at 1440p120 on xbox. As it is probably 60hz panel will probably use interpolation. It shows up on info on TV as 1440p120. But could just mean it accepts the signal. It feels better on Modern warefare. Got juggernaut 1st go. Its a good picture and obviously 4x 4k pixels. Being samsung probably sub 10ms like q60t at 4k60. However pic probably between q80t and q90t. I guessing. Think i will try change to a large 82un85006la or a large q70 to get vrr and 4k120 though. Many sellers are advertising it has vrr freesync but it doesn't. I sit about 3 foot away so the 8k is noticeable comparing to my 4k lg tv , 4k Panasonic tv and many 4k projectors. No noticeable banding . It uses many of the high end tv processors. Anyway hope that helps.

I won't mind 4k 60hz at all as it is currently sold at my area at a price of 900 pounds.4k 120hz is overrated like 8k tv. If the screen can hit close to 1000 nitts of peak brightness for hdr content and have decent amount of dimming zones to work with. I can live with 1440p 120hz pc/XBSX gaming if the tv supports.

That is the situation that is going to become standard in 2023 by then all panels 55" and up will be 8K panels so nothing else available.

Biggest scam of the year..hundreds of this TV's Q700T have faulty parts, screen goes black all of a sudden and there is no fix for it SAMSUNG admitted that is a problem from design and manufacturing processes, refund or replacement for this model...extremely disappointed my one is 10 months old and ceased to work anymore
