He has such a beautiful shade of lip gloss. All we have to do is teach him to sit in a dress/pantyhose...! David looked really happy to be doing that reenactment; made me smile. &80)
@apestaartje321 The show was notoriously unpopular within the legal profession for exactly the same reasons as Mr. Mitchell points out here. Two episodes were even banned because of their inaccuracies.
Was anyone else sort of hoping that he was going to reenact the Adam Hart-davies bike/shower thing from the last section or do I just have a slightly odd mind?!
people that deserve a massive hug just because they are who they are (in a random order)- David mitchel, bill bailey, Stephen fry, sean lock, phil jupitus, hugh dennis .. this in not a list of the only people i like.. i like others but they are not exactly the hugging type :) .. and its not an exhaustive list so people can add or remove whoever they want :D
@hairinmyEYES Indeed, he reminds me of a rather 1960's Labour mentality (not in a negative way, it's basically how I am politically). Socially liberal, pro-Welfare State but supportive of traditional institutions when they work. That seems to be fairly reasonable in my view!
@KotowTV When you go to comedy gigs does the laughter irritate you? Genuinely curious, because I honestly don't notice it and a lot of people say this now. I don't think they're told when to laugh (i.e. a LAUGH light), if that's what you're saying. When you're at a thing the laughing is communal, you're all finding it funny together; maybe you laugh more than you would alone, and a titter from 200 people sounds like more, but it just doesn't really register with me.. or not as an irritant.
@SwordInAir In terms of... a certain amount of rose-tinted loking at the past? He's in favour of nationalisation of utilities, opposes the language of the Conservative party a great deal, as well as a lot of their specific policies, and is fairly socially liberal, it must be said. Obviously he gives off the air of a traditional "establishment figure", but he's not po-faced anough to engage with any one political view completely, as he's expressed in interviews. Just my impression, naturally.
