@@antwangomost of the HK people are but the small amount of the people with more financial abilities, and the rich are not on the side of China. Because most of their money is stored in the west. Chief Executive of Hong Kong, cannot do much, with the real estate giants, and the people under him in the government, either lazy or on the west side. Hong Kong needs to have a strong leadership to change the situation, and also think about how to follow the China lead in this time. All the government people are either lazy or afraid to change. That makes Hong Kong going no where. The West will not let Hong Kong go well, so why not slowly give up the west and fully submit itself to the same direction with China. Otherwise Hong Kong will not go anywhere.

@@toniwhy8415 absolutely agree with you, it's also.not just about the leadership but it's in our mind. We need to own it, believe that there's a better wayand work hard on it. Continuing to play victim is the worst choice to make. It's really time for HKers to step up our game and it's in all of us to do so at a personal level. @@justineesun3396 I agree with your view about those during the riots but I don't mean that, I mean proper diplomacy training especially for government reps. We need better awareness and leaders like Lee Kuan Yew who can find the balance and are not intimidated by the West. Business and economy are important and we're not short of talents in those fields, but we need to diversify e.g. in tech innovation.

Hong Kong wants to do business with all countries in the world. Hong Kong is one of the very few places where the US scores a trade surplus. And a big one. It's the countries which have been imbued with overt or covert agenda, that want to take China down, using HK as a leverage.
