Lecture Series presented by KPMG - Does Reality Have a Genetic Basis?
The ultimate construction, as a basis for fundamental theoretical physics is an imperfectly understood structure called "M-Theory" or "Superstring/M-Theory" (SSMT). In a quest to create a rigorous mathematical background for SSMT, new mathematical structures called "Adinkras" have been proposed as the appropriate objects to study. This study has led to the possibility that there exist a "DNA of Reality" which will be presented in this talk.

Very interesting, Thank you for posting. The analogy to computer code can be confusing, until one considers that "code" is often a set of mathematical and logic relationships between "data", which itself, can be represented by relationships. When sets of relationships are represented as a picture, spatial transformations can substitute algebraic ones, generating unique algorithms. The underlying structures revealed are implicit in our understanding of reality and, the tools we use to achieve it. The artifacts, if one can call them that, are of our own creation.

Walter Russell the mystic broke it down in more clearer terms. His images are through mystical perception rather computer 💻 generated images or from Mathematical equations. But Walter Russell wouldn’t be able to explain it as scientific and Scientifically accurate as Dan Winter do, because Walter Russell was just a Mystic, in his time Computers 🖥 didn’t exist which means Walter Russell images was entirely through Mystical perceptions rather than Scientific work or equations , but Walter Russell Books 📚 The Universal One, The Atomic Suicide , The Secret Of Light and A New Concept of the Universe is a good start to learn his teachings and philosophy and Walter Russel was also a great Artist 🖼 . Dan Winter is more like Nikola Tesla because they both were great Electrical Engineers 👩‍💻 , legend has it that Nikola Tesla and Walter Russell was good friends. Rex should also interview with Sevan Bomar.

Is it me, or do the graphics at 37:40 look like the double slit experiment, maybe we are completely WRONG about how we are going about the experiments and that something that has to do with the fundamental nature of the universe is interfering and causing the interference patterns because of the way we are looking at it, NOT because an electron is a particle AND a wave depending on consciousness. Maybe..................

Ray SideCarDude Maybe we truly are just running a computer program and is our consciousness an unforeseen side effect, one that creates the sense of choice/free will but in fact merely that, a sense/delusion That would mean we are just in it for the experience and maybe an unexpected source of insight for those that run/ran the whole sim It would truly mean that things are actually maintained/stabilized by a single, (accidentally) aware fractal whose conscious experience is compounded of the "sensations" of every thing with the capacity to react to an other thing, as if those were all reporting their part of the "movie" (a sheer endless number of point of views) And there is philosophy again ;) and yup, the whole thing becomes meaningless

This guys right on the money, everything eventually boils down to bits, 0's & 1's , if you think about it reality has to be a simulation for many reason. 1 verifiable test is event prediction, if we can predict a future event , its already happened many times in past simulations and/or parellel sims, even if it was slightly different to the previous sims with possibly and infinite amount of sims taking place simultaneously, it explains everything ghosts,aliens etc. Question is So who wrote the sims ?, well us ofcourse in a previous simulation. ahh too easy
@filminginportland1654
@filminginportland1654 6 лет назад
ALwAYs_DRiVing No, you’re way oversimplifying things. I can think of MANY more likely explanations for these things you describe. You can’t jump to a single conclusion without evidence just because it sounds good, that’s not science. I see a simulation as one of the less likely scenarios, computer based simulations anyway. And no, it doesn’t boil down to just 1’s and 0’s, the universe has a much higher resolution than just digital bits. Some things use sets with a lot more values than just off and on, far more than binary. And it’s not all digital, some things being analog in nature with infinite values, vs digital which is always an approximation when attempting to convert analog to digital. There’s always a loss there. (Using those terms to describe values that are encoded digitally in the universe vs those which aren’t; like sound waves which have infinite variation, but if converted to a digital form, those slopes become steps due to the resolution of the digital encoding; those sine waves couldn’t exist if it all came down to digital at its base level). I happen to think he’s referring to the “DNA” of the universe, as you would think it would have some form of code to define it somewhere. That doesn’t have to mean it’s a simulation at all.

I wish experts from different fields got together more often. For example, if Google X, Apple, HP, Microsoft, and the world's best hackers, programmers, and people who have actually created entire programming languages could get a year or so of deep collaboration with these guys, would we be able to build some kind of revolutionary new computer language based on nature? To me, it seems this could allow us to maximize our ability to optimize computer language in a way that is consistent with nature, making it probable that our technology could more easily merge with biology.

Great question about whether or not you can keep zooming in. S. James says there is a point at which space might start to disappear. There is another option - the structure of matter may be fractal in nature. Like a never ending computer program, like Pi - the further you look, the more it generates - no end. I'm not sure how I feel about string theory. Objects existing as one dimensional seem counter intuitive. I definitely understand objects existing outside of our detection - but I see this as more of a spectrum analogy - visible light vs invisible. Lastly as far as constants. We need to look more into the inverse square law and connect the dots with so many forces obeying this principle. Why? Are the forces really all manifestations of one greater force or are they all beholden to traveling in an ether which exhibits a frictional constant?

@JohnBoyX570
@JohnBoyX570 8 лет назад
barbottawa I think fractals are fascinating - not necessarily from an artistic or geometric standpoint, but because their algorithms generate to infinity. I looked at some of Jason Padgett's videos and, while his story is interesting, the concepts he's stating are all already out there. His Tedx video was just him stating very obvious physics concepts and then extrapolating new agey ideas out of them. If you're into movies like "What the Bleep do we know" you might like where he's going, but I thought that movie was ridiculous. I'm really looking for scientists who are willing to question physics' sacred cows - speed of light not a constant, Ether existence, electric universe, validity of the double slit experiment, etc.

Reckless Abandon Wow.. nice insights. It's incredible what the Atomists were able to posit without any modern technology. How did it come to pass that Plato (possibly Egyptian trained?) came to push so much emphasis on the triangle. Loop theory is attractive... I especially like the granular idea of space (since I love Ether / Tesla dynamic theory) It seems those metrics might be able to describe both in a satisfactory manner. (Unless I'm missing something). I've always been really intrigued at the "magnetic lines of force" signature in even the smallest subatomic collisions. Since, like Plato I do believe in God, I like the idea of a fractal structure of the universe (who knows if we get technology to see past those crystal types). It seems to me that God would be infinite (Alpha and Omega) or even circular (starts back over). However I had a very interesting conversation with a Physics "shut in" named Stephen Mooney.. Here is what he wrote in regards to finite nature - "When I realized that the Universe is infinite in space and time (distance and duration) and that it involves finite construction possibilities across cosmology and biology, I explored the idea of a systematic representation of the number of possible types across cosmology and biology. This resulted in an arrangement of numbers and arrows which I called the paradigm of types and is located at home.spin.net.au/paradigm/type.pdf But leaving aside the idea of the paradigm of types, I have no doubt that the all attraction (including gravity and the nuclear forces) is caused by the absorption of emission which is composed of particles and that the gravity of the sun increases over time so that the end of the earth which result from it being drawn towards the sun. I don’t see any prospect of the physics establishment (the practitioners of the abstractionist paradigm) embracing my observations within this particular history of the earth." - Stephen Mooney

It has been speculated that Information is the most fundamental thing in the universe- The beginning there was the word (information) and all things came to be through the word (by information). Now we must ask the question; what is the source of information? Book of John chapter 1 1 In the beginning was bthe Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made Through him, without him (the word) nothing was made that has been made.

Here's how - yes this is philosophical - how I'm sure we're not in a simulation: what would the purpose of this simulation be? Any being(s) with the capabilities and resources to create a simulation like this would surely have other more efficient ways of knowing anything they could possibly be trying to learn.

Here's the thing. I've done years and years of research on complexity theory...which is arguably much more elegant and fundamental then Gate's theory. What Complexity theory points too however is the same conclusion...that the universe is a one way computation. This computation seems to have no purpose...it's merely an exploration of all possible states that a system can attain. The consequences of this simple concept, is that all states will eventually be explored, an infinite number of times. The only caveat, is that it takes a HUGE amount of time to actually get to the maximal complex state...on the order of gogle^gogle years. But it means that the life we are experiencing right now, is experienced again, slightly different each time as we go through all the different arrangement of states...there are states in which i am you and you are me, and we live that an infinite number of times...there are states where we don't exist at all in any intelligent form...It means that literally all states we can possibly think to explore are explored. So what is the purpose? There is none, and all of them...because we go through every possible purpose we could ever think of...it just takes a huge period of time. Go and watch Leonard Susskinds 3 lectures on Complexity and Gravity. Think about the implications of that lecture with respect to the universe rather then black holes and you realize that we are at the mercy of the same computational rules.

All our tools -- from levers, to computers, to symbols, are patterned after interactions with and observations of nature. It should come as no surprise that mathematics, our oldest language, is useful in uncovering previously unknown details (it is after all the veil with which we have covered them). Likewise, that error-correcting codes are embedded in the maths of theoretical physics may simply be a consequence of how information is organised in robust complex systems, with digital communication being its first known application/instance. That information is required to organise systems itself may not be particularly meaningful in an existential sense if we recognise that information is merely the newest coolest tool we have for representing such systems. Or perhaps it does, and could be an indication of a homuncular "organism" (or mechanism if you prefer) which has expression as living organisms on our scale. It really is awe-inspiring, but personally I try not to take it too literally.

@filminginportland1654
@filminginportland1654 6 лет назад
Lorissa Cook omg the Mandela Effect isn’t a literal thing. Nobody has been able to prove it, but they have been able to show the power of mass suggestion and highlight how poor our memories are about many things. As well as show how we mishear things, even current things. Every video I’ve seen attempts to show “proofs,” and it’s always stupid things like when a phrase is used multiple ways in a movie, or when a corporation changes its branding so that a sign changes. Or, just how many remember things differently. Most of the videos are highly dishonest, showing things they should know full well haven’t changed in the past, attempting to make it look like it has. And people gobble it up with no proof. Mass suggestion, mass hysteria. Also shows why mob rule (true democracy) is a horrible way to run a society (vs a constitutional republic like we have). If this isn’t a full-blown psyop, I’d be surprised. It does show how people will repeat misinterpreted information over and over though, further spreading nonsense.

Surely the 'computer codes' are simply an artifact of the process of running/transforming equations through matrices.

So are the super partners the holograms we build in our mind? What we focus on and create in our heads and attach feelings to? Because if everything is made from energy are the thoughts that we create that feel real formed by the super partners

Great presentation. What if we humans are multidimensional Adinkra symbols? Graphical representations of the dynamic code of the Multiverse. Block Linear Self Dual Error Correcting Code already exists in the reality of our universe so it makes sense that it would be found in the proposed mathematics of String Theory that describes everything. If a theory describes and explains everything then that theory must also include the description and explanation of itself!!! Super Symmetrical!!!!!

It all depends on what perspective you take, if you look at things from a matter perspective you'll have one story if you see everything as information/information flow and computation will tell another story both are identical just different pictures due to the perspective of the lens you see looking at things through.

If it turns out that constants are actually real variables, what would that mean in respect to the "simulation" hypothesisquestion? Or does it remain a stupid question, but just less conspicuous?

OR, one can translate all processes to computer-code ? Remember we humans have numbered everything we have found. To make a process, we need certain amount of ingredients (numbers). So we can see algorithms, and codes everywhere. It isn't strange at all.

so when represting physics equations in geometry one might find predidictive measures. and when trying to inflate the object and make it more complicated or otherwise prettier, while observing the rules of transformation, you find an self-correcting error code...WHERE? HOW? WHAT?

This guy is very lovable, but this is perhaps the most insubstantial physics talk i have ever seen. He spent the first half giving a very glib summary of the standard model which was totally unnecessary. The second half was so vague and failed to describe what he is actually doing.

What if we really are in a simulated reality like The Matrix.. but we aren't projected from actual bodies like in the movies.. we are also simulated and all of the agony and confusion we go through during life isn't really happening.

LittleBronzeGate even if it were a simulation, it is happening because we’re experiencing it. The pain and suffering isn’t less real if it’s a simulation, and we have to live with the consequences either way. So..

I think Gates was onto Complexity Theory as it is today. Though i don't think Super Symmetry exists as it hasn't been shown at the LHC, The adrinkas are similiar to graphs or networks in a graph theory. Look up Wolfram's Hypergraph theory, and Susskind's lectures on Complexity and Gravity. Gates definitely wasn't blowin' smoke with universal computation.

At 4:57 I am not entirely convinced by his characterization of Mathematics. Mathematics do not lead to the formation of concepts or the formulation of original questions but is a language used to convey or communicate the complexities from person to person. Nor is mathematics the only tool which lends itself to sceintific or intellectual inquiry, perticularly with respect to the mind, which may in itself be resistant to quantification. At 48:03 how does the Grose Periwall (not sure how to spell that) relate to the Mandelbrot Set which is in effect, infinite? Finally, on his closing remark on the expanding universe and the understanding that the rate of expansion is accelerating I find unconvincing, at best. As a theory, or more precisely (in my estimation) a belief system shares many similarities as religious doctrine. Mainstream physics employs flowery language "elegant" and "beautiful" which plays on the emotion of it's loyal adherents. Just sayin.

yeah, all math is is transformation of information. mathematical functions take information, work on it and generate information that have properties different from the original information. the relationship between geometry and algebra was formed by decartes long ago. and i fail to understand how adinkras is different from me expressing a line as y-x =0 or drawing it on a graph paper ... and how is this related to supersymmetry. he never explained what he means by supersymmetry or maybe i missed it ...

The universe is a fractal representation of a visual system of symbols, that are translated into what we term reality. Quark's here and there quark's everywhere, don't get qaurky. Cascading surplus of adrenaline flushing through the energetic system, i.e. the nervous system. Unlock infinite potential, and reduce the atrophy of times passing.

This was one of the best simple atomic physics lectures I've seen until I began to derail at about 35:50. After that point all it looks like to me is plugging equations into a computer and looking at the pretty picture, but thats just because im stoopid.

Gates is beautiful genius, but there may be men out there that will use this information for not so good things. I hope he is smart enough to hide a code within the code that would stop anyone from using it in any negative way.

Bird Dog Nothing he is saying can be used by wicked people for evil. Those in charge already have all the power they need for their purposes anyway. Not sure what you _think_ he’s saying, but it’s nonsensical. There are not that many people who could understand this deep enough to use it for anything viable in the real world anyway, and nobody right now as it’s all just theoretical concepts. He never said we live in a computer simulated world, so if that’s what you’re assuming, you can stop right there.
