After running 45000 kms in my ntorq I will say it is highly reliable because I only gave the scooter for 1st service and later I will tell what I spent. Spark plug on 30000 km, tyres rear on 21000 km and front on 31000 km .All this in less than 18 months and I have not given for water wash for 1 year. Just now changed air filter and front wheel bearing after 40000 km. My opinion is that it is the most reliable scooter . After changing the air filter it is giving the same mileage when it was new. I took this scooter for many long trips and it was awesome. I wonder why Indian products are so underrated especially tvs.
Guys like heaven, go for TVS NTorq 125 any time. Its the most comfortable and stable scooter I have ever ride. Its a statement from a person suffering from severe back problem. Riding the TVS NTorq is like driving a premium car. It doesn't transfer any vibrations or any shock to the arms or the back and I have driven it through all pot holes and hills already and not at any point did I had any pain or even discomfort while riding it. I have driven all types of scooter from LML Vespa to Aprilia 150, but this time TVS has done a great service by providing the NTorq 125. It has superb perfect suspension and riding position is perfect with great balance. From my experience, Any day, I'll go for the comfort than the style or reliability for 10 years. Listen to me, you'll thank me after years.
hi buddy. Nice to hear your honest opinion . i am also planning to buy entorq. Although i had few questions in my mind which you could hopefully solve. 1) How is the build quality of ntorq and will it be a good choice for long term? 2.) Do you experience any rattling sound coming from any parts of the scooter? 3) How long you have been using ntorq and can you tell me about the average? 4) Do you face any major issues while starting the ntorq after few days of break? Please let me know soon.. Your answer will help me for my purchase decision alot! Thanks
Hi, 1) The build quality is good but the con is too many parts been screwed or clipped together, so in future there may some creaking noise or rattling sound may arise from parts. 2) On the first day itself, there was some noise coming from the fuel lid. I have opened the fuel lid and noticed that only one screw was there instead of three. Straightaway informed the TVS dealer and they immediately rectify the problem and told me to inform them that in future any problems arises, they'll immediately rectify them. Even the TVS Customer care called me to verify that everything was okay with scooter. 3) I have been using the Ntorq for the past 1 and 1/2 months and crossed nearly 650 kms now. I always ride with family (total 3 members). It gives me approximately 43 kmpl. I have never crossed speed of 50 kmph till now. I only go for short rides of 4 kms with lots of speed breakers and pot holes. I think surely it may give more fuel average if your ride is on some good roads or if you're going for more than 5 kms rides. 4) Until now, I didn't faced any starting issues. Only once I have to kick start on the 4th day after delivery. After that only button started it. It mostly starts with a single try. Once I haven't touched the Ntorq for 4 days, but the next day its started with a single try. Now Cons: 1) As I have told you the TVS production Quality control should be better. I had sound coming from fuel lid with screws missing. Also I think TVS made some design changes to Ntorq, because they left some parts not to screwed together even there is provision to do so. For example the under seat storage can be screwed with the body, but they didn't done that and left it like that. Also the back mud guard has two pieces been screwed together instead of one single piece. It may give a noise some times as times go. So, the only problem I feel the Ntorq has is the many parts and not so good Quality control at the production level. I have written these complaints to TVS and they responded immediately and assured me there won't be any problems like that in the future. Let's see!
Jai S man , thanks for such a detailed answer.. so with your response i feel the only major cons is the way they have fixed these scooter parts...well i was thinking to buy entorq by the end of this month but now i might hold back and wait a little more...i also came to know that cbs will come soon to entorq as it is mandatory from next year to have cbs in every 125cc and higher models...
Jai S also when you told me that your fuel lid had only one screw instead of 3 , did tvs service center guys made changes and fixed 3 screws later? Did that solved your problem?
Yes, the TVS service center immediately repaired that and checked the vehicle thoroughly with tightening of each and every part and screws as well and tested again to make sure everything is okay. Also received calls from TVS itself asking about the fault and gave assurance that this won't happen again and in future if any trouble is there, they'll immediately rectify those. The dealership people were very helpful and even made calls to me few days later to check everything is okay with the vehicle. Now on Tuesday, the dealer called and reminded me for the first service and they even have pickup facility to take the vehicle from my home to service center. So, tomorrow I'll get the vehicle first serviced and post the experience here.
Ntorq is better than Aprilia Sr125. Its have unique features like engine kill switch and Bluetooth Digital instrument console.. And u forgot tell one thing. Its don't have choke in front. It has automatic choke. I'm proud to be owner of Ntorq. Ntorq is funky rider.
I'm Proud to be Owner Tvs Ntorq. Its as awesome suspension in bad roads and Breaking is also perfect and sharp. It has Smart features like Smart connect, Engine kill switch and it as automatic choke. And its funcky Ride...
Good job with the ntorque sr125 comparo. I liked the concept of the video....it was fun and as always, a great comparison by #TEAMPD Good job Varun and everyone at PD for quality auto contents!
Can anyone help me out? Right now I'm having Tvs Jupiter BsIV since last 8 months. And I'm getting an average (mileage) of only 30-35 kmpl, which I feel is quite low to say. Have gotten three services done and clocked 3400 kms till date. Riding is quite moderate in city with varying traffic conditions, high traffic in usually not that frequent. Roads are also quite standard, no major broken road patch. So should I get its mileage check at service centre or it is just normal?
I have been using ntorq from last one month. Everything mentioned in the video is right but build quality is not up to the mark. The bike entirely made of carbon fiber and looks not that strong. In fact some of the screws came out while driving. We have to be careful about that.I think they have concerntrated on engine and other features and makes the body weak. My personal suggestion as a ntorq owner is go for other bikes if you want more durable and strong bike if you are not feature enthusiast
Maa kasam dhaasu video hai.. knowledge with humour and fun... Asli taariff kara houn, give away toh hogya kabh ka... Lol.. I love ntorq thanks to tvs..
The only thing that saves the SR 125 from ntorq125 is the chuncky wheels, take that off your looking at the best funkiest,125cc Moto scooter from an Indian manufacturer(am talking about the ntorq)
I lyk d tvs125 coz 1st of all it's an Indian scooter, 2nd which is fully equipped (instrument cluster is sooo wow), 3rd tough competitor 2 other scooter which has huge fans following 4th it is nimble and easy to handle in city traffic after we don't do touring much with scooter but still it's a good scooter for a long ride 5th tall or short riders it will suit the both for sure 6th review & customers are satisfied 7th it's very economical & stylish 😍
Please suggest., Metal body scooter advantage and.... Which is best metal scooter. Economy to maintain free Less expenditure on collision and misdealing.
Ntorq another uncle's scooter just meh... No other scooter handles like sr and just buy sr 150 the most powerful scooter Uncle's please don't buy sr and spoil the brand. It's just not what you are looking for
I think the Ntorq with all that cool Bluetooth connectivity features is badass . But can't resist saying about the thrill you get in driving the aprilla
Really a nice comparison between TVS NTorq and Aprilia SR 125. While watching the comparison it is true that the TVS Ntorq is better than the other one. Nice video and comparison.
Summary: TVS N-Torq - Balance between comfort for daily commute and high performance, feature rich. Aprilia SR125 - Performance focused for enthusiasts.
