Bro is there any issues with brakes wearing off or not working and whats the mileage after 1 year now Also Im looking forward to buying this and I wanna know if it has any major issue in the long run
Did you use the bike during monsoon? Is it true that rain water is thrown on the pillion rider from the rear tyre. Is a tyre hugger is needed? Since the rear mudguard is slightly smaller.
Not yet used in Monsoon, but definitely it will need a tyre hugger, coz of wide rear tyre and Max open space at rear end, mud can reach to pillion helmet for sure. 😅
Personally I like Galactic Grey in Top model. It looks sober and decent. If u want attractive and bright colour then you can go for this one, Dawn Orange.
@@stonespider can you tell me your experience please , I'm thinking to buy it , how you liked the service centre, chain noise , about the engine , just overall experience, will help me a lot
@@arjunmishra1050 1. Ronin is not meant for the monsoon season, mudguards are short so the wet mud flies from front and rear. The bike looks very dirty. There's no tyre hugger available in the market for Ronin that's compatible. 2. Seat length is small for the pillion and TVS hasn't made any backrest accessory for Ronin, again no aftermarket backrest is available that fits firmly on the grab rail. Backrest is a must if a pillion is sitting. 3. Paint is peeling off from some places (the rod that supports the rear tyre). In short paint job isn't good. 4. DTE feature is not at all useful, the reading just keeps falling drastically. Not accurate and unhelpful, i don't even look at DTE since. 5. Bluetooth Maps feature is bad, the Map integrated in the TVS app seems like 2008 UI and features. I have to use Google maps instead on my mobile with a mobile holder. (Btw, the Maps feature in Ronin has only 5yrs licence, you have renew it after that) 6. Low beam light is not so bright. Seems dim. The Good: 1.Riding the bike is fun, the sitting position is comfortable 2. The high ground clearance is an advantage as I had to travel on uneven ground with ease. 3. Off-roading is good as Ronin has a high ground clearance and a good comfortable sitting position. And a good pickup when you throttle (when you require to) while climbing slightly uphill. 4. Ronin stands out from other bikes due to its unique design and look. (Can't say about ahead, as scrambler, etc is being launched now)
TVS Ronin has DRL lights, the lights are ON always even in daytime when the engine is running, so won't it affect the bike battery lifespan? 🤔 And what's the purpose of the light to be ON even in daylight?
This technology came in BS4 vehicles, like from 2017 only. Including Scooter. It won't affect battery life, as the headlights and electronics designed accordingly.
Purpose of the DRL, which itself says Day Time Running light, it's useful to trace Two Wheelers even in the day time from far distances. If u ever noticed, vehicles with headlights on in the day time are more visible than other vehicles. So this is kind of safety feature for Two Wheelers.
