TVS Ronin 225 vs Honda Highness CB 350 vs RE Meteor 350 - Full Comparison 

VIBRATIONS in CB? 😅 bro, get your bike checked. There is no comparison of CB when it comes to refinement

All the other reviewers in the past two years have said that the Honda's is the most refined engine with almost no vibrations. You are saying the opposite.

I own both the 350 s Honda is far better in many cases especially in REFINEMENT

CB 350 has the best in segment engine refinement, reliability, economy for a 350cc and handling. Meteor is the most comfortable with typical RE character. Ronin is a jack of all trades and a master of none.Your review is amateur.

Being a Mechanical engineer and a designer in automotive field, I have following observations. I was looking for a family bike for city rides mostly with a flat (horizontal seat), circular headlamp and retro-like + premium design (not like 100-150cc bikes). After exploring lot of bikes, I finalized three options to compare. 1. Honda H'ness 350 CC 2. Royal Enfield Hunter Rebel 350 CC 3. TVS Ronin 225 CC I test drove all 3 vehicles 2-3 times and following are my observations, 1. Honda H'ness 350 CC - *Pros* - Nice retro/classic look, Low end torque is good, Seating space for pillion rider is more than other two vehicles. *Cons* - Bulkier (Box size), Paint quality, Higher cost as compared to other two vehicles 2. Royal Enfield Hunter Rebel 350 CC - *Pros* - Beautiful Design/Styling/Look, Great color schemes, Turning radius is smaller than Ronin (Less space to turn the vehicle), Reasonable cost. *Cons* - The biggest issue (design flaw) is positioning of foot rest (pegs), just below the sitting position. This makes it difficult to keep your feet on ground while you are at signal or in slow moving traffic. Foot rest (pegs) keep touching your legs and is very uncomfortable. Another point is that seat on rear end tapers downward and seating space for pillion rider being less, pillion rider tend to move back and when you accelerate, pillion may feel like toppling/falling down at back side. So this is not safe and hence, back rest is MUST. Handle bar positioned in such a way that you need to keep your hands stretched straight all the times which is not a comfortable sitting posture. Low end torque/performance (2 & 3 gear) is sluggish due to bigger engine. (Not as good as smaller capacity bikes) 3. TVS Ronin 225 CC - *Pros* - Semi-retro look with circular headlamp, Driveability and Performance is superb. Handle bar position is very good for comfortable sitting posture with hands slightly bent in elbows. Very easy to handle in traffic. *Cons* - Very bad design/aesthetics of fuel tank (some odd shape), Color schemes are odd (not impressive), Turning radius is higher than Hunter (Needs larger space to turn the vehicle). Cost is on higher side for lower CC as compared to Hunter (mainly due to features). Overall, none of them is meeting my requirements (as mentioned above) and hence, I decided to wait for Kawasaki W175 or Yamaha XSR or Improved version of Royal Enfield Hunter. All the best! Seeing all its +ve and -ve, I would say skip this bike. Rather buy a Honda CB350. I covered the whole south India on it recently (15000 Km in 3 months )and can say that Honda is class apart in terms of performance, reliability, off roading, top speed, and I was riding at 120kmph most of the time, with zero vibrations. ❤️

Am surprised on your comment that refinement is not that great it Honda in comparison to RE.....I own both and my feeling is otherwise.....refinement is amazing in honda but the only drawback I see in honda is the hard shocks

Hi. I am 6'3 and I loved the ronin right from the test ride. It fits my preference, style of riding and budget just right. I am only conscious about the bike looking small on me, that's the only thing hindering me from going ahead. Would it be a good buy if I go ahead with the Ronin?

I own highness and classic 350, have ridden meteor as well. Refinement of Honda is extremely good, miles ahead of RE bikes. I don't know what's wrong with your bike.

Honda H'ness...any day better then The other two Royal meteor is best Royal enfield so far and TVS robin is just a new baby in the segment.. They have long way to go

Ronin exhaust is best than RE Meteor.. it's reality. And btw, Indian company RE beat in 350cc & 650cc bike segment in West countries, specially Honda Japanese brand. Indians r foolish they prefer foreigners in every sectors 😄.. fir bolte hai, China or Japan kese aage nikal gaye. England ne 200 saal tak kese Raj kar liya. Because Indian cheap mentality

Hello brother. I am planning to purchase a bike (this will be my first one). I have narrowed down my options to Meteor and Ronin. Ronin basically fulfills all my requirements but my likes are more inclined towards Meteor 350 because of RE brand. The only doubt I have is regarding handling of Meteor 350 since it's on the heavier side. (I am 5'8" and just 65kgs slim built.) And riding a heavy bike makes me less confident regrding handling. What would be your suggestion? My daily commute will be of 10kms only. And very occasional road trips. Budget is not a major constraint for me. Also, I'm not a fan of split seat or naked sports bike. PS: Cannot buy Honda bigwing or Jawa because of unavailability of service centre at my town. Also, TVS service centre for Ronin will be 40kms away.

Honda is best known for it's refinement and also for seat comfort. No other bikes in this segment has the guts to defeat honda in terms of refinement 🔥🔥🔥

Bhai refinement ke liye 3rd? I may be wrong but actually CB350 should be on top when it comes to refinement, I had ridden it twice and I found absolutely no vibrations even at 100kmph, may be the bike which you are riding might not be serviced.😊

Bhai i have highness bilkul bhi vibration nahi hai even if you ride at 120, i feel your piece is defective and i felt it is quite flikable in city traffic. Isko maneuver Karne mein koi dikkat nahi hoti hai.

How's the gearing in highness vs ronin ? due to tall gearing in highness you got to keep upshifting/downshifting frequently which is a big headache in city traffic though blessing on highway. I once tried apache rtr 200 which comes with gtt and has one of the smoothest gear system by Indian manufacturer, riding rtr 200 in city traffic was stressfree experience (though not that comfortable seating posture) as I didnt had to wrestle with gears all the time when comapred to highness.

This guy's gloves and shoe are specially made to vibrate when they touch highness and act the opposite when Ronin is touched. 😄

TVS is spending well on marketing and advertising budget .it’s proved . Highness is punchy but buyers don’t buy highness to do drag race . RE has better service than Honda bigwing or ronin(TVS is not selling or servicing Ronin in all showroom/ SC)

Honda Highness is best bike amongst them. But its expensive service cost and only availablity in the Bigwing Showroom only is the major issue. If this Honda bike was available in every showroom and service cost was bit low then it would have beaten Meteor , Classic Reborn and Hunter alone

you should stop reviewing, CB is a city bike, has very good control and manuvering in the city. On long route, Metior like any other bike creat tailbone pain, but in Meteor you cant adjust your back, whereas in Highness, you can make adjustments.

Cb 350rs is best bike But but but... It is available and can be serviced only at Honda Bigwing Showrooms which are very very limited. While Tvs and RE are in most of the cities. If you have Bigwing in your city then definitely go for Honda It's engineering and refinement is undefeatable.

I got The highest mileage of 42 km per Litre in my Honda Cb350, And the lowest of 34 km. Hence your mileage figure about the bike is wrong.
