I don't know many TVXQ songs, probably just a bunch of the most famous ones, but I have mad respect for them and their talent, and their impact on all generations of K-pop after them is undeniable. Thank you for this reaction, Caitlin!

I'll never not love SM groups bcs seriously - who has their main dancers/rappers (Yunho) singing like this!? Yunho dropped an amazing mini album last year and a super fascinating medley film. to think that the high notes Changmin did here in killing voice was like 50-60% of his full capacity of doing a full blown high notes is insane. i also wanted to say that yunho was urging himself not to dance to the songs that they did 😂😂 thank you caitlin for reacting to their killing voice. i hope you would also react to some of their stuff too. ❤❤❤

Same! I've been following them since I was in HS when I heard Rising Sun O. Yunho has been my bias since with Changing being #2. He is so fine 😭 I'm a grown woman, married and with a kid but have kept up with all their group comebacks and most of their individual work.

You'll get a lot of comments recommending you check out the OT5 stuff, and while I love that stuff and also think it's well worth checking out, please don't overlook the OT2 stuff too. They've been a duo 3 times longer than they were 5 members and their discography for all 20 years of their career is amazing. The latest album, 20&2 (for their 20th anniversary) is actually one of their best ones yet.

Actually the number of songs they performed in the first third of their career is almost equal to the number of songs in the remaining two-thirds. Therefore, it represents half of their career, not just one-third.

I have stan TVXQ for a while now this 2 are really vocal kings I like how different their vocals and the huge talent they both have but Yunho is more my style both psychically and I love his cheerful and bubbly persona but what I like most is his raspy voice . I am pretty certain we all got into TVXQ because of Mirotic that song is just too good and it never gets old its such a golden song .....Yunho is my celebrity crush now.

I am just still replaying that killing voice and I am still marvelling about how they are so good giving us top tier harmony, with just the two of them even while doing songs when they were 5 doing all of that.... I have so much respect for both of them. I love them 🥰 SM is really there giving us the best groups with vocals, raps and dance on point!

Last year of middle school for me. I ain't get into TVXQ until right before Catch Me came out, but I act like I grew up with them because I did such a deep dive into DBSK 😂😂 They were my introduction to Kpop

Omggg thank you so much for reacting. It's so enjoyable to watch people new to TVXQ's discography appreciate their vocal prowess. They really have experience on their side, and I hope other kpop fans can also appreciate more how much TVXQ has contributed to the kpop industry. They really set a standard. One of their best assessts too is their deep passion and professionalism in the work that they put out..

Super late to this party but I only know them because they have guested in one of my fave ‘reality show’ I Live Alone and also, Moonbyul of Mamamoo loves them and has done covers of some of their songs. Keep Your Head Down is definitely a fave aside from Mirotic in this line up

I was lucky enough that last year I was able to go to Japan to see them in concert! I really recommend their Japanese discography. As of rn they are actually way more popular in Japan than Korea. They were the first Kpop group to break in to Japan! Honestly they need to do a Killing Voice of their Japanese songs. Fun fact they now hold the record for most concerts in Tokyo Dome ever by any artist at 30 total concerts at Tokyo Dome They were also the very first Korean artist to perform at Nissan Stadium in Japan and the forst non Japanese artist to have a solo concert there. It's bigger than Tokyo Dome and has a capacity of around 75,000. Their first time there they performed there for 2 days and their next time there they set a record and I believe are the only artist ever to have more than 2 consecutive concerts at Nissan in a single tour at 3 days straight! it'll be interesting cuz later this year I believe Twice and Seventeen will be playing at Nissan soon so they'll join TVXQ as the only Kpop groups to perform there!

You should react their concert performances, mostly in Japan (Tokyo Dome or Nissan Stadium), bcs they're LIT! I always enjoy music but going to a concert (anything with a huge crowd) never ever crossed my mind. BUT they are the only exception. With only 2 members, they have strong stage presence, enormous energy, stable live vocals, and amazing dance performances. Attending TVXQ's concert is now one of my all-time wishlist!

Been their fans since 2008 and I’m so proud of their improvement since debut! Yunho wasn’t even a main vocal back then as he was more well-known as the dancer of the group and Changmin wasn’t a main vocalist either but after they became a duo, their voices and techniques improved so so much better! I’d suggest you to check their entire discography (unsurprisingly, their Japanese discography was as popular as the Korean one) 😊 The older songs with 5 members are more vocal heavy & even acapella (you’ll be surprised that even their dance songs have harmonization lol) and the newer songs as a duo are more performance heavy (yet you still got beautiful harmonization). To someone asking about Changmin's vocal teacher, it's Yoo Youngjin, he is an ex-producer of SM. D.O. and Winter is also his students

More than ex-producer, YYJ was the music director of SM. He is practically defined what SM sounds like. A lot, and I mean A LOT, of SM legendary songs had his hands at some point in its production.

I grew up with them the past 20 years as my first group. I was a fan when they were 5. If you want to look into the heavy world of Kpop their group split up is one of the first who dealt with the politics of SM. My bias is Yunho when it's only the two of them, but Junsu is my main bias. Onew and Junsu are pretty neck-and-neck for the ultimate bias.

Changmin is one of my favorite singers at SM Ent. Nothing can replace Changmin's vocals. I really like his voice. With Shinee's Jonghyun, his voice is very beautiful.... nobody can replace their uniq vocal

they used to be a 5 group and their 5 group songs are now sung by only the 2 of them. songs that are hard enough as 5 are sung by 2. they’re in that high of a tier in terms of consistence and living up to their expectations. legends.

Keep your head down was slept on probably because of the timing. The lawsuit the other 3 had made against SM was only a year or two before and it was the BIGGEST kpop news at the time. Keep your head down was the first song they released as a duo, so lots of fans left and the remaining fans were still mourning the loss of half the members.
