I am LIVING for all these new people reacting to and finding out about DBSK OT5. The songs people/fans will request are going to be predominantly ballads because they will really showcase their vocals. There are more up-tempo songs that might be more up your alley.
yeah, they debuted as an acapella group, so they were able to harmonize and dance while singing since debut. they definitely don't make them like that anymore. they have a lot of good vocal heavy songs like my destiny, kiss shita mama sayonara, tomorrow will surely come, and begin. the live versions of these are a must of course. for more upbeat songs there's also purple line live at tokyo dome, 9095 live, darkness eyes live, ride on live, crazy love live, and summer dream live at a-nation. you should also check out jaejoong's solo stuff like "mine", "maze", and "forgotten season". there are live versions for all of those songs. he also performed recently at the aaa awards in 2023 with the songs "mine" and "one kiss". he sounded so good and was the only one there with a live band
I will never not be mad that sm's shittiness robbed us of full tvxq. Like imagine how great they would be now if they were that good 15 years ago? TVXQ has been a duo since 2011!!!!! So PLEASE RESPECT what they have achieved and stand for in these 12 YEARS. Those who ONLY recommended OT5 songs are people who never pay attention to the TV2XQ genre which is the true TVXQ NOW. I will Highly recommend Begin Again Tour in Nissan Stadium 2018! Yunho and Changmin did AMAZING live performances while soaking wet in the heavy rain for 3 hours. Their Japanese Tours are so well done with fantastic stage design, camera and lighting work...,etc. Toho Team are AMAZING. You can feel the true team work behind these exquisite stages. Yesss fall in love with Jaejoong! He's amazing and hilarious! I first heard TVXQ I had no idea what they looked like but I knew I loved Jaejoong's voice. And I've been in love with it ever since 2006/2007. Jaejoong is still my ultimate bias like 18 years later. I definitely recommend checking out his solo stuff like Mine, Just Another Girl, Love You More, Breaking Dawn, Brava Brava and his live performances of Kiss B is sexy as hell! Also check out his RU-vid show JaeFriends he has tons of celebs go on there! Its super fun!

I can relate to the pixels not helping. Back in 2016 when I became a fan I watched some of their shows to chose my bias. The vid quality was less than 360. I couldn't even see their faces so I learned to differentiate between their voices. I chose my bias (Junsu) from his laugh before I could memorize his features. I can't believe that was 8 years ago
JYJ has some amazing songs I'd recommend Get Out, Back Seat, Creation (live), In Heaven (live) Jaejoong made this song about his friend who took his friend who died (I Believe he took his own life if I'm not mistaken), Empty (Live), Ayy Girl (live version in Japan) & There whole album called Just Us is a masterpiece!

I hate the fact that anyone is talking about Micky/Yoochun and his amazing looks and vocals. He's voice is SO soothing and comforting. Even when he leans towards something more rock like, he simply gets me to my knees ;_;
love ur elreaction as always. thanks for this! For solos, I'd recommend Jaejoong's Mine and Xia junsu's Flower. Junsu has his own killing voice too which is ballad and musical heavy but so amazing!
And as for Junsu! That man becomes possessed by the music both vocally and dance wise lmao I've seen him live several times and he's a spiritual experience. He's an incredible dancer too! He mostly does musicals now but has an amazing discography. I recommend Tarantallegra, Flower, Incredible, Rock The World, OeO and Pit A Pat.

But SM messed them up so much what I like the most about them is their harmonizing and adlibs, I bet you and all cassiopeias around the world agree too.. I think now you should check their solo songs all 5 of them, before checking newer JYJ and TVXQ My recommendation for their solo projects are: XIA : Flower Jejung : Mine Yuchun : Slow dance (only a few content about him, you can find out why 🤷♀️) Yunho : Spotlight Changmin : Piano And for the JYJ, I always love their live performance of "W" and "I found You" For TVXQ (Yunho Changmin) I'm gonna recommend "Crimson Saga" (live), "This is My Love" (live) and "I Know" (MV) Actually one more, please also check out TVXQ "Beautiful Life" this song is like OLD OLD, 2005 I guess, they have this Weslife vibe to it.. DBSK (TVXQ) was one of my first kpop groups back in the early 2000s! They are the reason I got into kpop and Casseopia was my first kpop fandom. It's awesome to see people reacting to OT5 again. :) JYJ were so instrumental in the fighting for the rights of themselves and future idols. Also Jaejoong was the thirst trap of DBSK haha. Though Junsu and Yunho also took turns. Back in the day I was also a Jaejoong bias. I do prefer Junsu's music to Jaejoong's now they're solo though.
changmin was my bias from the very beginning, but i got into kpop bc i saw him in the "summer dream" mv and it was akin to a religious experience for my young self lol. his long hair was 🥵. have you seen changmin with long hair? he looks so good with it.
The funnier thing is when Don't Call Me came out everyone was saying that is literally Wrong Number part.2 😄 22:05 Hahaha that's why Junsu was the most popular member in Korea and Jaejoong was the most popular member in overseas.
