Twelve year old boy killed in Tulsa's first homicide of 2024

A 12-year-old boy was killed in a shooting late Monday at a home rented for a party, Tulsa police said amid the first homicide investigation of 2024. Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. Monday to the residence in the 1900 block of East 14th Street. The victim was found in the home's entryway with multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

They should also look into the North Tulsa shooting the same night that left a guy in critical condition. I bet they are some how related since the 17 year old was trying to sell a gun. Remember years ago there was a gang war here in Tulsa and I was at a Tulsa ER when a gang member was brought in and died a few few rooms where my son and I was. When I went to my car the family was there and I was trying to put my son in the car because he was a baby then. Next thing I know the parking lot was filled with gang members screaming lets go get them . I got my son in and noticed the sister and mother of the victim was there. I went over to try and help and comfort them and had to help the sister stand because her legs had given out. I could understand what she was going through because I had lost my 17 yr old brother to being shot and killed. I got her to the car and I went back to my car. I was scared for who ever was going to be at the tail end of that. Two days late I saw on the news that gang did take retaliation and they found I believe 2 young guys dead. What I wanted to say is they could be connected.

I want to say I read about the 17 yr old being shot but that was a couple hrs earlier than this. I'm really sorry and I read the house where this boy was killed wasn't the targeted house. This is still very sad because no family should have to start the new year like this.

That was son he wasn’t supposed to be their he was just their by chance he didn’t bang bang he wasn’t a thug he was in 7th grade with a mother who is trying to go to nursing school with four other kids I do believe you right it’s connected I believe they came for another teens their my son just stepped outside for air in his life was tookin shot serval times no on else’s hit but my baby

@@Jayboyunreleased I first want to say I am sorry for your loss. This really has broke my heart for him as a child that lost his live so young and for you and his family. I wish Tulsa was safer. This might sound bad right now, though I haven't lost my child but I have lost my brother when he was 17 to a shooting. It hurts for a long time but it does lighten up a little to where you don't feel like you are going to die every single day. I have ptsd from this and it's been over 30 years. So know in time you will heal to a certain extent, to where you can live. I am praying for you. May God Bless you and keep you in His arms of love. Only in Him can we have peace.

Thank you (I'm his sister) I honestly wish this was a dream but my brothers gone🥺🤧 and the last thing I said was boy get out my face (at least is still said I love him🤧🤧)

Thank u so much we need it (I’m his cousin) even tho every time we would see each other we would always be mean to each other that’s family I still love him and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone and we saw him the day he died
