This is an epic cultural journey, very delighted to discover the beauty of diversity and coexistence of the Abantu people on the mountain slopes and along the river banks. To the Agikuyus, Aembus, the Akambas I say one love, this is truly who we are.
Visit turkana county, west pokot counties a lot to visit and see including the turkwel river that forms a beautiful dam and lake turkana with lots of beautiful islands
Wow wonderful video there.. I can see my rural stage; gwathamaki.. looking beautiful n busy as always. When we retreat to the village, this is the place we go to enjoy delicious fish. For travelers, there are also nice camps sites and big hotels within the vicinity you can explore
Very nice! I wasn't aware that Central Kenya had those canyons too..I thought hell's kitchen canyon at Marafa, Mombasa were the only ones. There are probably others around the country too. Great show!
Wauuuw 🤩🤩magnificent scenery! I’m from Kenya but I’ve never been to Sagana. Must be in my checklist. Thanks Twende for the great episode. Watching from Norway 🇳🇴
Compare old to new bridge. The new bridge is a joke, will be washed away during floods like in Kajiado, but hey let reality, facts and common sense not get in the way of profits.
Sagana is not in Murang'a county, it is in Kirinyaga county. When you are standing on the right side of the A2 when coming from Nairobi, then Murang'a would be on your left, Sagana in the middle, and possibly, Embu, on your right depending on where you are.
No no, that is the exact boarder points of the four counties from nairobi, machakos is on right, muranga on left, then cross the bridge, on right, embu then kirinyanga on the other side
It's a good idea to have this cultural centre. It showcases the uniqueness and diversities of the Kenyan communities. However the claim that it also represents the Ameru and Akamba is misleading, because they have their own unique cultures which are well known. For example Meru Museum in the heart of Mutindwa, is an authoritative resource on Meru culture.
