In this video I put every song off of CLANCY against every song off VESSEL by Twenty One Pilots to see which album is better, and what songs are the best between the two. For me personally Lavish didn't hit that much. I still listen to it and yes it's a fun song. But if I have to choose between Lavish and The run and go, the latter takes the win every single time. And please, keep up with the content, love it! :)

This was on point. At the this point, ranking the songs of Clancy next to others and against themselves is almost impossible because almost all of the songs made by twenty one pilots are so incredible good. I want to see Clancy vs scaled and icy😂. Scaled and icy is going to be crushed!

@@beng290 I think Fake you out surfers the most from the electronic vibe dying out otherwise I think that fake you out is an easy clap. I find it hard to pick ATROF just because its so new and hits so deep. I think with more time I can give it an accurate rating but rating it higher than fake you out which is a classic for me felt too ambitious so early.

Great vid, i think a lot of og twentyone piolots fans will be triggered because a lot of them hold on to those older, less refined TOP sound, but i think it was a really fair rating.

First 3 songs of Vessel are best start to an album period. I hate having to choose favorites but I give it to Vessel, Clancy a close second. It is really hard to choose best when we haven’t seen it played live yet. The screams in Truce live are just hands down best.

Spot on for me. I would have given it to Lavish over The Run and Go, though. Clancy is a better all around album IMO but I do agree that the highlights on Vessel outshine those on Clancy, at least for now.

@@BuddykegBreakdownsit was very tough. Clancy is my 2nd favorite album by them. And it’s one of their most consistent. But when doing the matchup like this, the highs of these other albums just help the other albums hang with Clancy. Whether that’s nostalgia fueled or not, I’m not sure lol.

Clancy is just a deeper album than Vessel - Vessel is iconic and there is no Clancy without Vessel Vessel is really raw and has some timeless classic, but Clancy is just better overall and more polished

I don't think polished song always beats an unpolished song. Very much agree with the take that vessel is raw but I don't think vessel is was supposed to be super produced most of the songs are still played pretty similarly to how they were recorded. As far as a deeper album I guess i'd have to ask what you mean by that. Deeper as in there is a story? Sure I get that. Deeper as in themes I would have to hard disagree. I would think Vessel is the deeper natured album considering all the songs about depression, self harm and the love a son has for his mother. Clancy feels if not the same amount of deep a little less but we are still really talking about the same themes. I'd be curious to carry on this conversation if you're down.

I mean lets be honest the production of Clancy is way better than vessel, but I'd argue that the production of Vessel is exactly par for the songs and how they make you feel. Its important to remember most of the songs on vessel were basically basement takes from tyler given to a studio who cleaned them up a tiny bit and published them. I would argue that overproduction of the vessel tracks would have made the songs lose a lot of their intended meaning.

next semester i feel has insanely important and meaningful lyrics . i also think the production and punch the song has is top notch. holding on to you is equally as important but as an entire song i feel i value next semester heavily in TOP’s catalog. navigating vs guns for hands is such a toss up, draw-type of round . it’s too tough for me to
