They are very good at expressing emotions through their songs because the subject matter is very personal to them. They have had experience with depression, anxiety, self-injury, and many other mental health concerns that many people deal with these days. They have helped many people through their music and lyrics. The common saying since Tyler started writing songs is to "stay alive". They are worth looking deeper into. You do have to listen closely and take the time to hear the lyrics sometimes. But the music is catchy and amazing even if you don't pick up on all the nuances. Like in this song, he is saying that he has been through a lot of what many people struggle with but he found a way to change it. If you compare the first and second verses, they say the opposite of each other. Sorry, this went long. I'll be excited to see if you do more TOP!

The black paint is symbolizing Blurryface which is an imaginary character that they have. This was before the DEMA story but I. The story Clancy(Tyler) is stuck in a circular cement city called DEMA and the 9 bishops have power over the city. DEMA is in the continent of Trench and they can’t leave the city. Clancy try’s many times to escape but he is captured many times by Nico who is the leader of the 9 Bishops. Each time Clancy is captured Nico Puts black paint on his neck and hands to show he was captured. He is still trying to find ways to not get caught.

Oh my god so excited when i saw this reaction. BTS and these guys are my ultimate favourites. Tyler is an incredible singer/rapper and an incredible writer he also pllays all kind of instruments including the bass and piano and Josh the drummer. Super talented guys. Tyler definitely writes from the heart in such a unique way (really quite genius)with lyrics often about his struggles with mental health but even though its such a dark subject the message within his writing is always one of hope. If you feel like him then you are not alone in the fight. His lyrics have really touched and helped so many people. One of those groups you cant put in a box because they have such a unique and diverse style you honestly never know what you will get from them next... so many fire tracks with hard beats like this one and in my opinion some real masterpiece tracks in their back catalogue. Ive seen in concert just about every big group and solo artist worth mentioning over many years (except BTS😢) but these 2 guys blew everyone of those acts out of the water live. Best concerts ive ever been to EVER!!!

21 pilots are my favorite band before I listened to and found BTS. Like BTS, many of their songs include rap and singing and they are very diverse that you can't put them in one genre. They have a lot of catchy songs with deep meaning in all their songs. A lot of their song lyrics can be playful that deals with dark issues dealing with depression and suicide. Their stuff is really catchy like BTS minus the choreo in live performances since they play instruments. The other two songs you guys are humming to is Ride (reggae type beat) and Heathens (soundtrack for 2016 film Suicide Squad). Since you reacted to Local Boy and Ride already from their Blurryface album, why not react to their two arguably most popular songs: Stressed Out and Tear In My Heart. Might as well add Heavydirtysoul, We Don't Believe What's on TV, Hometown, The Judge and Lane Boy since those songs are also good. Heck, I just mentioned almost every songs from that album(excluding Heathens) since it is really catchy and good is the reason why that is my favorite 21 pilots album.
