this interviewer is so good!! i really admire how he lets tyler and josh take the reigns of the interview. so many interviewers come across as overbearing and obnoxious and don't even have worthwhile questions to make up for it. great job!

Although this interview wasn't necessarily funny or spontaneous, I loved it becuase they touched on songs and topics that they haven't talked about before. This was a great interview. Also, Tyler and Josh: there is a slim chance you are seeing this but if you are, you ARE doing good. I see it every day when I interact with those touched by your music. |-/

Even though josh is (obviously) an amazing drummer, I love that he isn't the best of the best. I think the fact that we've been blessed with the opportunity to see him grow as a drummer and a musician is incredible and inspiring, especially the way he talks about it. Can't wait to watch get even better!!!

GOOD QUESTIONS OH MY GOD. See every band should be asked questions about their music, what's next, what they feel they should work on, how they became who they are. I mean funny interviews are nice but when they try and meddle in their personal lives I feel like they get uncomfortable and I don't blame them. I feel this interview was very important and a good example for future journalists who really care and have a passion for music because that is what this band is all about and I love that about them. Very good. |-/

Interviewers like this are my favourite because they ask questions about the actual music and it's not awkward for them. They give them the opportunity to answer in full detail and that's really important.

I just had kind of a weird moment when Tyler was talking about being on stage and thinking "I can't believe I'm doing this right now." It's just that I've put Tyler and Josh on some kind of pedestal without entirely realizing it. Like, to me, these two guys aren't just people anymore. They're people who saved my life, and in a way, that creates a harsh distinction between me and them. But when he said that, it startled me because I remember thinking the exact same thing when I went to their concert in October. Just knowing that we share the same sense of awe in the same situation (granted, our roles in the situation are a bit different) made him seem more like a person rather than some untouchable being. That may not make a whole lot of sense, but I just feel like I needed to explain it for my own sake if nothing else.

+Tara B I get what you're saying, and I feel it too. Sometimes, it hits me that these men are humans. And that I have imagined them for so long, as creatures capable of things far greater than I could ever achieve, but in reality, they do the things I do. They go grocery shopping. They get sick. They change the wallpapers on their laptop's desktop. There's a kind of resentment towards myself for letting that be forgotten. I wish it wasn't so hard to see them as people.

okay but i have seen a few of their interviews where this particular guy talked with them and these are the best twenty one pilots interviews out there! he asks really interesting thought out questions, gives them time to actually explain what they mean. its turns into this sort of discussion rather than just them answering the same questions over and over. i absolutely adore this.

This may sound kinda weird so please forgive me. I've heard that if someone has been depressed for a long time, then even when they are not depressed anymore, they still have this "depressed face". Kinda like if you always frown, you'd end up with frown marks. I may be wrong though.
