I mean it’s a soundcheck....you probably wouldn’t scream because you’d be the only one and it would probably make you to awkward, almost feel like your doing something wrong BUT hey sure
From 2:55 to 3:40 you can act like you 're the lead singer of the band called Twenty | One | Pilots with Josh Dun on the drums and Tyler Joseph on the keyboards just for you and it's sick!
To anyone thinking the singers just going through the motions while the drummer goes all out, he can play the drums all night but the chorus is a strain on the vocals and Tyler doesnt want to get his voice all raspy before playing. Regardless, fucking-a to anyone here, we the true fans.
Okay but I adore how Tyler was just cleaning up the stage while rapping and all his extra sounds and I absolutely love how josh was playing just as hard as he would if it were a real show
The Ipad is to adjust his in ear monitor levels. its connected via IOS to the main computer, and he has ability to adjust his vocal level, drum level, keys, etc. hope that helps clear things up. Its in a box to just keep it protected. the only time he uses is to soundcheck.
+Kyler Schmor Hey I know you comment on this video 10 months ago but you seem to have knowledge on their tech and I have a question. Do you know exactly what the iPad at Josh's drum set does? I think it plays the backing tracks but I'm not sure, also if that is what it does how exactly do the backing tracks work?
Josh's iPad gives him control of his monitor levels at all times. In case he doesn't like the level of something. As a drummer for band who also plays drums with backing tracks and in ear monitors, you always want control yourself since you can't exactly move during a song. T.o.p nowadays has The tracks are controlled offstage by someone so that they can change up adding longer choruses, verses etc. Back then. Josh had control on his Mac book and it ran usually as just one long show. Iknow this is super long haha but hope it helps! Feel free to check out my electronic Indie Pop band "Clear Pioneer"!!!
+Kyler Schmor another question, when the backing music stops during songs like The Run and Go during the bridge, how do Josh and Tyler both come back in at the same time, exactly in unison with the backing music? I've noticed they don't really even look at each other
+Kyler Schmor I know this is an old thread, but I checked out your band and bought the Calatrava EP on iTunes, really loving it! Hope you guys come to the UK some time
desde el minuto 2:09 se nota que tyler no podia cantar, su voz estaba muy rota, ademsa de que se salto una parte. tranquilo viejo, solo intentalo de nuevo
Na, when he's on stage there's a lot more adrenaline and all that so it's real Plus this is only a sound check, so it's more to check that all the instruments and backing tracks will sync together properly etc (I think) so there would be no point him fully going for it like in a performance
