Their last tour had a full backing band that played on some but not all the songs. And in the midst of this was a short campfire set in the middle part of the show, where Tyler played uke and Josh hit a soundboard, with the band members playing bass, accordion, fiddle, acoustic guitar and trumpet. It was a great little interlude with just dudes playing and no extra lighting except for the campfire in front.

Josh has said that this is one of his favorite songs to play live. And yes, Tyler never intended to be “a ukulele guy” 😜 but he bought one at a used music store and has written a few songs on it and uses it frequently in live performances.

I love the Fangirling over Josh! He deserves it! Hearing accolades for his skill is very refreshing. Have you watched the MTV Unplugged show yet? If not, you need to!

Great reaction. When he sang this song in Charlotte last August he said some songs he can write in 30 minutes but when he thinks of the song that took the longest it was the Judge, saying it took him about 5 years. ❤
