Columbus, OH - LC Pavilion - October 19-20, 2012. Tyler Joseph puts together multiple older songs that were not played during the concert. And tells a story.
IT WAS SO AWESOME OH MY GOD SUPER COOL. they aren't playing these exact songs but they did play pantaloon and addict with a pen, they also played semi-automatic, forest, and ode to sleep in it!
Glowing Eyes: 'awh he looks so happy' A Car, A Torch, A Death: 'okay this is a little saddening now' Oh Ms Believer: 'okay this isn't as emotional' Anathema: 'who's peeling onions?'
Finn Johnson Part of that is due to the lack of exposure to it. A lot of times people can get into them and won't even know about the self-titled album for a few months. That one you can find in a few places, but Regional At Best is nowhere to be found on Spotify and is really only on a few independent videos here on RU-vid.
song list: 1.) glowing eyes 2.) a car, a torch, a death 3.) oh ms.believer 4.) anathema 5.) fall away 6.) isle of flightless birds 7.) taxi cab 8.) ruby |-/
leah røse i was at tour de columbus day two at newport music hall amd everyone was chanting "TAXI CAB TAXI CAB" and they played a lot of songs from self titled except for taxi cab. so when tyler started playing trees, we were still chanting "TAXI CAB TAXI CAB" and then tYLER SAID "guys... i'm really sorry... we can't do that... sorry.." AND WE ALL STARTED SCREAMING "IT'S OK TYLER AWWW " IT WAS SOOO AMAZING
When tyler said "this is one of my favourite verses ive ever written" and sang the verse about Jesus saving him i had chills the whole time. FRICK the way he write about God makes me so happy. TYLER NEEDS TO DO THESE SONGS LIVE or at least somehow get his old music on iTunes
Don't get me wrong, the throwback medley on the Blurryface tour was so beautiful, but now it's mostly songs from Vessel, not Self Titled and RAB and that's just kind of sad to me.
Ola Jastrzębska im from their hometown and im really mad that i cant see them live here. i had to drive all the way to kentucky to see them. it was SO worth it though. the only thing was tyler didnt really talk bc he had end of the tour sickness and i was sad.
i hope everyone that had the opportunity to experience one of their old shows realizes how lucky they are. Especially when we know this won't happen anymore; They are so popular now and selling out arenas and stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm so freaking proud of how far they've come and I'm so happy more people get to hear the amazing songs this guy writes and experience the amazing show the both of them put together but idk, I saw them live for the first time a couple weeks ago after being a fan for three years and although it was one of the best nights of my life and probably the best concert I've been to I can't help but think, especially when I see these videos, how bad I want them to go back to the intimate shows in small venues where Tyler would just casually crowd surf and he would just casually tell a random story or interact with the crowd and be so happy, I mean, I'm sure he's happy that their music has reached to so many people and that he gets to do what he loves every night and he always put such pasion into every show, they both do but yeah... its not the same. I mean, i guess its kinda hard to tell a random story at an arena full of people screaming but yeah. I just really wish I could've experience that. Sorry for my rant, I just been watching too many old TOP videos and I'm really emotional. Anyways, I really love this band. Sray alive, frens.
Max Flores omg sameee ify!! like i want to see so many tylers old songs live and dont get me wrong josh dun is amazing two best duo ever i just really wish I had found out about them in 2009
Well wasn't the song "save" one he made in his basement and wasn't on any specific album so its probably really hard for him to sing it. I could be totally wrong idk.
I'm crying. Everything hurts, and yet I'm so happy at the same time. I'm so glad that I found this band. I don't know where I'd be without them. Thank you twenty one pilots |-/
THIS MUSTVE BEEN THE BEST CONCERT EVER THEY PLAYED SONGS FROM REGINAL AT BEST AND SELF TITLED ANDDD THE MUSIC VIDEO CAR RADIO WAS FILMED HERE, I WOULDVE KILLED TO BE HERE!
I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS WHEN I FIRST GOT INTO THEM AND ASKING MYSELF IF I WOULD EVER KNOW ALL THE SONGS IN THIS MEDLEY THING. AND HERE I AM LIKE 2 YEARS LATER. AND I CAN NAME EVERY SONG AND I CAN SING EVERY LYRIC AND I AM HONESTLY THANKFUL. |-/
I kinda lost is when he crowd surfed back to the main stage. Like, there is so much trust there. And it made me think of Reading. And things are so different now, but better. And I don't know. I'm an emotional wreck.
