Say Something is a masterclass of ear candy. Its crazy that they never tried city pop before and the first time they did it became one of their best song across all their discography
I'm sorry but Twice didn't have the vocals for that song. It sounded like a Michael Jackson song from the early 1980s (e.g Baby be mine). Red Velvet would have nailed 'say something' as SM songs are heavily inspired by Michael Jackson
Btw, “Say Something” is one of my faves in the album bc of its complex layers, as well as it brings city vibes. Based on your reactions, I can totally relate. 😂
If I were to rank my favs in the album I’d say depend on you, bring it back, shot clock, believer, icsm, go hard, and lately handle it are on the same lvl

Fifi city pop enjoyer yess! Impeccable taste for sure. I liked city pop songs before so I was very pleasantly surprised when Twice came out with a city pop song. Say Something is definitely one of my favorites in the album (along with Handle It and Up No More). As for a guide, I'll have to do a bit of research to see if there are any new ones before recommending but I'll come back to the comments to suggest one later 😊

As for the guide recommendation, all the ones I like are on the longer side so maybe I'll leave this recommendation task to other onces, haha

My top three is UP NO MORE, HELL IN HEAVEN and BEHIND THE MASK. The difference in out tastes are astronomical😂. But from the previous videos of the reaction as well as your playlist, I knew FOR SURE you were going to fall head over heels for SAY SOMETHING.
I am not a once but I really love this album specially depend on you has very special place in my heart. I have repeated this song so many times, it's insane. I have heard their other albums after this one caught my attention. For me, this is definitely their best album or an album that suits my taste the best.
Say something is actually so good and behind the mask is such a good song to look out the window when listening. TWICE have actually done a LIVE for Depend On You and there you can really hear their vocals shine
Last time I felt the way I felt for this album was when I was in my late teens and "Jagged little pill" dropped . It's one of those albums you wouldn't mind playing on repeat for days.. Glad you got to appreciate our girls. 👍
TWICE did a live performance of Behind The Mask. It will send shivers down your spine when you watch it. It's so creative :). There's also a live performance of Say Something where you see their playful side.
Amazing album. I feel like Twice are too often underestimated. They can do so much and do it WELL. I love that Level 42 is your fave. I don't know why I failed to know this fact earlier but I love it.

Say Something is very inspired in 80's japanese city pop, I don't know if you've ever heard Plastic Love by Mariya Takeuchi, the vibes are very similar. If you love this type of music then I recommend you to check out Yukika, her main genre is city pop. I also love this song so much, I actually put it on my top 22 of my favorite kpop songs of 2020 in your video.
It was giving me a lot of Jazz Funk/ jazz fusion and disco! All of which inspired City Pop ~ I only really consider actual Japanese songs city pop! Someone else requested Yukika! I’ll definitely be checking her out

Depend on you / up no more (can't choose between those 2) I don't know if they're gonna drop an MV next week (doubt it) I think they're just gonna drop the bsides for perfect world... but we never know with them 😂 On terms of the guide, that's gonna be the homework of the week, is not like they don't have guides, is just that either they are outdated, they are way to much info... my top 3 are: Say something Queen Believer Say something is one of my fav tracks of whole kpop bcoz the vibe of the song reminds me the music style of Yukika (my favorite k-city pop soloist) and Uju (indie city pop soloist that i listen to much) and i really *really* love that type of songs

SAME! Say Something, Handle It, and Believer are my favs but I love the entire album. It’s a no skip. You should check out Black Pearl by Sunmi and Plastic Love by Friday Night Plans. They have the same city pop sound and I love them! Level 42!! I only know a couple songs but you have great taste! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Whenever I listen to this Album, I listen to it from beginning to end, no skips in between. I'm glad you loved the album and enjoyed listening to Twice even though they weren't your favorite and now you're willing to watch a guide to get to know these really hardworking and talented beautiful ladies.
