This was one of the most meaningful song and era for both Twice & Onces, 2019 was one of the toughest year for our girls, the year when Sana almost lost her smile, and the year when we didn't have Mina. (and some other stuff that we do not need to bother with) JYPapi wrote this song after speaking with the girls one on one and realizing each of their struggles since debut. You will realize the meaning of the lyrics to the member that sung each part 🥰

Right before the production and release of this song, Mina was on hiatus due to anxiety. The group was also attacked for some PR issues. During that difficult time, the members supported one another, especially Mina. They talked to one another and to JYP as well. They had a long, heart-to-heart talk in a meeting. And the song came out of that. It was a difficult time overall for the group, and the song is about how they feel about one another and how they will always one help another come out of the darkness.

This song was written not because TWICE became really famous at that time, and JYP wrote this song to congratulate them with a celebratory song, but rather because members were going through really tough times, especially SANA, whom received a lot of hate from many typical nasty K-online people, just because she, as a Japanese person, expressed certain thing related to Japan. JYP written this song to help the members to feel better about themselves, with love from both fans and fellow members.
