Well, part of the whole point of having a song in a lower register is to make it easier for them to perform on music shows. I can't imagine how difficult it would have been for them to try and perform Last Waltz or Espresso (the songs that many Once wish was the title track) on music shows. With choreo, mind you. Considering the amount of harmonies and vocal overlaps going on in both their song...well, all I can say is that Jeongyeon's return to the stage would have been a baptism by fire. Lower register songs will generally be more chill, mellow and less energetic. That's what Onces wanted, so they shouldn't complain when they get it.

@@whisky3k I mean I’m not disagreeing with what yall said at all.. scientist was definitely made to be the single (had the best vocal arrangement for a live performance imo) and is arguably the perfect track to go with the overall concept of the album. I’m just thinking that for those that are gonna listen to the album in one sitting, scientist will prolly not be as “gut-punching” on the first listen as some of the other tracks so yeah.. a SOLID song regardless and will prolly hit a lot harder for some people as the year end idk (I feel like scientist has that happy nostalgic feeling which grows on you the more you listen to it so we’ll see❤️)

@@whisky3k sorry but I think the point of a title should be to entice the general public to listen to the album. Sadly a lot of people who aren't fans of Twice will ignore the album because the title wasn't strong enough to grab them. Anyway they could have made Moonlight a Korean song and it would easily have provided interest to the general public and it isn't hard to sing at all.

In terms of album, the direction is weird, but I like the idea of doing all genre they haven't try. Kind of fulfilling their need and mine as well.

Album direction seems to be "experimental" which fits the overall theme
