Sorry but Jihyo is still the overall better singer technically. But there are lines were Jeongyeon sings better than Jihyo. Frankly speaking, the high notes should be evenly distributed between the three Ji-Na-Je. Followed by Tzuyu and the others followed Sana,Chaeyoung,Mina=Dahyun,Momo. Jeongyeon needs to get lines which higher pitch, low pitch lines she gets doesn't suit her.

I am a Jeongyeon bias and I admit that Jihyo is better than her but I just prefer Jeongyeon's voice. Jihyo looks more consistent in supporting her voice when reaching higher or even lower notes but the gap of their skills in my opinion, isn't that wide unlike other groups where there is a big gap between the main vocal and the lead vocal. But yeah, she deserves more lines. She finally got it in Yes or Yes and I hope she continues to get the line she rightfully deserves as a lead vocal.

Jeongyeon is my favorite member. she is so loveable and she's always positive about things. when she went on hiatus, I was thinking "she deserves a break...they all do, they've been working so hard they deserve to take a very long break". I'm so glad she is back now

Jyp likes Jihyo and Nayeon more because their voices are cuter, and fits in with the TWICE vibe. Don't get me wrong, I think Jihyo and Nayeon have powerful vocals on their own, but Jeongyeon's voice is stronger then the two of them.

Hannah Potter jihyo is the main vocalist she is on an another level than jeongyeon (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and Nayeon fits the cute concept the best that is why I think but jeongyeon gets lots lines in Side tracks

Lux Lll i feel it much more complicated. we were able to see that Jeongyeon can nail their songs with cute and sweety soft voice (likey switch), and she always were in charge to cover Jihyo's parts (and easily do it). 3mix in ~ same level but have different range wich they are comfortable, but its not that different that they cant replace each other. Every singer can sing in different voices. There some interviews where they mentioned that all members have sang whole song for line distribution but main pattern of lines still the same in most of their songs, despite they are different. So it more likely not 'concept' but different strategy. I mean, they choose lines not because of suitability for concept but suitability for 'timecodes' and parts of songs - Jeongyeon mostly sing powerfull lyrics or/and near the end and do her work as lead singer with powerfull voice, and although she can fill other parts - these parts need to be filled by Nayeon/Jihyo - face of the group aka center / main vocal. Not because of ability or not suitable voice but because what she's in charge of
